visit cNet review, they have it reviewed... but they also did say, if u can wait, iPhone 2G (2nd Gen) is around the corner, double the memory and batt life with the same price..... ooooo....

seems like iPhone in Canada will be tied to one of their service provider there. i hope when it came here, it will be telco-independent. just hate to switch phone number and register to the contract. i think the phone should be available for those who are using prepaid services.

cingular for the states, rogers for canada. let start the guess for uk then, i bet it will be vodafone! no~~~

It's cool, really cool, it's smarter than other phone, really smart, it use Mac OS X, not Windows Mobile, and reasonable price since it combines iPod + phones + PDA..

But it doesn't have 3G. My next phone will not be non-3G phone. iPhone is a phenom in Europe but in Asia, I don't think so.

Bring to Asia at least 3G phone so then you (Apple) can compete with SE, Nokia or Motorola.

Well steve jobs said something about lowering the price of this thing year by year. But he doesnt seems convinced though, he was looking downwards instead of looking face to face to the reporter.
He said something like, they will make this cheaper as the years goes by and he doesnt think why anybody won't get the phone.

if with contract, and somehow u screw up the contract stuff, didnt pay, missed, owe or pay late for the monthly rental fees during ur contract period, then you will get bad credit rating from the telco to ur bank and hence your future credit check is screwed up as well.. unless u properly settle down the issue with the telco and bank..

i dont know what takes so long for this iphone to be released ? i would say that some other manufacturers could create something better sooner

agree with you. So i decided to wait the second generation of iphone. I hope it would not take that long time for them to ship it to Asia.

there is something better out there already at this time.. nokia and LG 5mp cameraphone, SE walkman phone or nokia Music Edition, LG Choc and Samsung touch sensitive sensors keypad, smartphone with symbian 3rd edition or WM 5 and etc etc.

not to mention those Japan telephony technology, like bravia technology, mobileTV etc etc..

but i would say, all of these totally different league with iPhone, with its aqua & cocoa Mac OS, the multitouch, the ipod features, album art flow, etc etc.

the cheapest will be rm2699 and above, u guys cannot convert from 499 to 3.6 currency, coz u see, the ipod etc selling in usa is cheap, but arrive here is expensive due to tax etc.

MacStudio informed me that the iPhone will only reach Asia in 2008, and that is Asia, so u can only imagine when will it reach Malaysia..
