So I guess the only reason to get the iPhone now is for its looks. And of course, as a fan of Apple. But its really tempting.

MacStudio informed me that the iPhone will only reach Asia in 2008, and that is Asia, so u can only imagine when will it reach Malaysia..

Err... THE iPhone IS ALREADY using the multi touch tech...

Actually, the WIFI part is really nothing to shout about, WIFI had been available on most PDA phones for years.

Down side of the iPhone:-
1. Really really really expensive
2. No replacement for battery
3. No 3G
4. 2 megapixels camera
5. No video capture
6. and the list goes on...

AND that is when it is released here in 2008, by that time, it will be way behind the specs of most other phones!

Naa.. I dont hate it, its just the downside of it, everything has its downside. Nothing to do with hate, it's just specs.



Whats wrong with you? The specs are lower than most competitors and thats it, its not hate, cant you understand that?

Friend, GPS gives you coordinates, you won't know where you are if you don't have a map to refer to, you need maps, constantly updated maps. You will need hardware + software + map.

I've been using GPS on my pda for some time now, with Malsingmaps.

But in the end, GPS works nicely on a pda or pdaphone, but not a mobile phone. Take Nokia N95 for example, it has built in GPS, but it's terribly slow. If you have used GPS for navigation driving before, you will realize that updating speed is very important.

No problems, it does look cool, but after some time I'm getting lazy to unlock it. I wonder it will be the same with the iPhone when it is out

I've got 2 accounts, one for US Store, the other Aus Store. Not that I want but accidentally registered for Aus Store the first time, so did another for US Store.

I dont buy anything though, just download the free stuffs, and browse podcasts.

I have been trying out GoogleMap, one of the functions on the iPhone, the one I tried was PPC version, it needs internet connection to work, and it does not have Malaysia map.

So basically it is useless for us in Malaysia.

True enough the specs are really nothing to shout about other than the screen. The selling point is actually the whole package, design, spec and BRANDING. I would also wait for it to mature further.

BUT I dont get your point of "Just like iPod, i wont get it". What do you mean by that? I noticed you are selling off your one year old iPod. You do own an iPod after all.

Bidding for the blended iPhone is over $1100 (comes with the blender FOC)!! Thats more than the iPhone itself.. Haha..
