Since this is my first experience using quasar. Here are some thoughts:

1. Some movies & tv series can open some give errors
2. I'm using external drive since mitv3s have small space and it works
3. Couldn't get anime series to work even though have nyaa and horrible subs program

for quasar, keep in mind that it is dependent on the torrent u select. not all torrents are healthy - some are too old, some are too new, some have too few seeds/peers... no guarantee.

good to know u got the ext drive working.

quasar may not be the best for anime. u r better off using kissanime addon which works very well even in 1080 quality.

u can check memory/storage available at box settings.
most addons do not require that much memory, 300mb is usually more than enough.
but it is possible with too many apps, junk files, bad folders, partitioning, it goes to <100mb for a small memory box.

Any settings to stream live sport without buffering? Tried some settings from youtube without success. I m on 30mb unifi.

Streaming live sport is the tricky one.. Particularly for famous ones, due to servers being overloaded, buffering is expected.. Just have to hope that at time of streaming, to be from a less congested source.

Kodi installed is a shell, pretty much a blank.

U need to get and install repos, addons.

Read page 1, google and watch a few youtube videos on how to.

That will get u started.

Anyone can install Kodi, getting Kodi to do what you want?? Well, that's a different case entirely as its output is dependent on your input. Seek and ye shall find.

TV Box or KODI is not a replacement for astro. is a myth if you think once you buy a tv box you can get the same thing as astro. you may want to read the first page and others post in this forum to have some understanding what it is all about.

unfortunately most of the box seller now put tvbox /kodi as 'astro replacement' in their ad. even though it's only a few free channel available. heck, event most of my friend who are not familiar with kodi, fall for it..

Is pipcan repo still working? tried to install versions 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 but both didn't work

Anyone encountered buffering issues with KODI? I end up getting an error message that says "“Cache Full: Cache filled before reaching required amount for continuous playback” Tried to clear the cache but I think that is only a temporary fix.

Bro, my experience told me azdrama and icdrame are almost same things, just curious why you need both of it instal. Try remove azdrama and install exodus. Cheers

Running it on X96 with 2gb of RAM. I cleared the cache off from the Android apps but I think it's temporary. Btw, the pipcan repo is meant for 4k streaming, any add on you can recommend to stream 4k?

What's an X96? Gonna need more than that.. Also 4k streaming, other than the likes of Netflix, YouTube & Vimeo.. is still a joke (IMO). You also have to realize that even if you have the full Internet speed required for 4K streaming, the average pure 4K file is not puny. Hence having adequate RAM & fast storage is crucial.. By creating and modifying an advancedsettings.xml file, you can manually specify (increase) the cache size.. However, for every MB allocated, Kodi requires 3x of free-to-use RAM.

I guess the 4k stream is all hype huh? Errmmm, playing with the XML doesn't sound friendly to me haha! Not also sure if my hardware can take it. I can still live with 1080p streams thanks
