Typically, just the files associated with that particular addon will be deleted.

Hi all im still new in kodi need some advise how to make kodi data move to sd card instead of internal storage?
Currently im using TM HyppTV STB, it only 2gb internal storage. when run kodi in TM STB it always show storage and cache full, lagging and crash (i believe because storage was full).
and i googling this website , follow the instruction the kodi data still remain in internal storage not from sd card.

I tried reinstalling the quasar add on & added the maget dl provider as well but I'm still getting the same warning msg of Unable to find any providers.

First time I added a few magnet providers, including magnet DL, mononova, EZTV but subsequently I tried removing the others and only with Magnet DL but i'm still getting the same error msg.

Mind guiding me which part I'm missing on?

What device? Likely ran out of memory.

The addons are fine, working good.

I suspect u used the wrong quasar repo. use the unofficial mirror one.

Or u did not set the path right at configuration.

i do not know what device u hv, where the storage folders are.

generally, when configurating the path, click on the option until u find something like this:

/mnt/sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files

that's where the downloaded files will be when quasar is used.

Using a tvbox bought online, turbobox to be exact. Wait, if I get u correctly, I need an extra SD card for this to work? Mine only has 16GB of ROM

16gb is good, can do quasar, no problem.

If use xiaomi mitv 3s how?

any box that has 4, 8gb will run into problems with quasar and popcorntime.

becos ops sys and apps take up about 3-8gb, u can do the math.

worse for those with partition issues.

Tried magnetdl earlier today and it's still working.. Your Quasar setup must be messed up somewhere. Try the following:
*Download & install the latest Quasar zip file from the official website.
*Configure its settings and also head over to the remote control settings (Kodi's).. Make sure both options are ticked. Restart.
*Install the magnetdl, etc providers.. Also go into their settings and configure them as well..Restart again.
*Upon restart, you should get a brief message stating that the Quasar addon has started successfully.
*Launch the addon and pick a title from the "Most Popular" section to test sources scraping and playback. Do not pick playback of content that's bigger than your available storage space.

Specifying an external drive as the download location within Quasar's settings works on most devices and causes issues on others.. Mainly due to health and performance (read/write speeds) of the attached storage. So as advised, you'd have to try it out on your setup and if it works? Good.. The internal storage method is preferred as it's much faster.

IMO..MiTV Box + Kodi =

What's the amount of free storage and RAM (also important) left? Also do try SPMC (can be found in the PlayStore), may perform better.

the memory is fine, unless u have installed too many apps.

u may want to check with other users of the same box in the mibox thread.



this issue of problems with kodi seem to happen very often with mibox and hyppbox (confirmed small memory problem)

does not seem to happen with other boxes/smart tv.
