Taiwan channels... most not working now, try later.

China channels.... yesterday down, now ok.

Japan channels... all off except nhk.

Australia, hong king channels all ok.

Kodi is like that, no guarantee.

Becos it is free, developers not responsible day n night for them.

Just do not count on one addon or one channel.... use multiple, standby alternatives.
Which is why it is extremely diff to have live sports hd 100% for free. Dont count on it.

2mbps is low, may not get much whether kodi or other apps.

for chinese stuff with canto audio and/or eng subs, ic drama is the best u can get on kodi now. u can try dramago, drama24h, dramanice too.

mandarin stuff... youku, bili, mango, cibn, letv, etc. are legit iptv. they don't work on kodi. but u can try the individual apps - can get something but not all since they are paid iptv, need membership/susbcription for full access. check at shafa.com. there used to be many "integrated" sites that work well but are getting shut down as a result of piracy control. so, it is now harder to get good stuff for free.
u mean those asian live tv channels in mr network tv?

all of them used to work before but many not maintained now or u need to register/pay for it.
taiwan, hk live tv is hard to get, china live tv is easy to get.

entire selection is poor, but it has all the latest HK ones - trivisia, cold war 2, mobfathers, three... and they all work in 720!

i only have AzDrama and LcDrama add on to view HKdrama.

1. what will be the internal storage space minimum requirement?
2. i do have a number of apps installed on mibox, but the amount of memory i think is more than enough?
3. is there a mibox thread?

yes. trred azdrama , but, experienced the same problem.
Yesterday , it play OK.. but, that problem recurring since this morning.

Remarks: Had reinstall the add-on,b ut, result the same.

I managed to reinstall Azdrama using the right repo (DKnight) and it is working now. I was not aware that I was using the add on from CTHO which is no longer being updated

What addon version are you running and what prompts the error. Let me see if I can duplicate it on my end.
Welcome to the life of cord cutting. Don't matter why you bought the device.. There's no 100% guarantee.. Want such? Give Astro a call.   Links not loading could either be as a result of dead links or server is overloaded and can't take in anymore. This happens particularly for live streams of live matches, most are shutdown much faster than VOD stream urls. Thing is, it's normal for addons and or links to end up dead temporarily or permanently. Need to move on and seek alternatives. Unfortunately, I'm not much of an NBA fan to recommend one that's currently working. However, if I do bump into one.. I'll share here.

I don't think you should reinstall Kodi just yet. Try reinstalling the addon and or check other sports links if working or not. Should tell if it's an addon or connection issue.

RD : Real Debrid. Its a premium server where u can link with most of the add ons. Fee only 3 euro for 15days. With RD u can get superb quality where cannot/difficult to with with free souce
