Hi all,
Have been using my HiMedia HD900 for few years, thinking to get a TV box, please can i ask if i get the latest Gen6 white pro with jailed break (around rm400), do i need to pay any monthly fee?
Will the box stop functioning after some time? Like those free for life TV box in the past, mostly can watch more or less 1 year...

Does it show advertisement? If that's the case, go to Mibox setting to turn off screensaver.

Mibox layout changed n I never update anything myself.
Last time kodi n others apps at right. Now is hidden in the folder
Kodi cannot open now.
The seller don't want layan me.
Anyone encounter before?

Yeah, kodi is working now. May be a few days never open, mibox kinda slow n updating. After an hour, test again can use ready.

I dont know what is the benefit of rooting the Mi Box. I thought it would allow me to delete the pre-installed apps and use a different launcher. Pre-installed apps that I deleted, returned after a reboot.

i have the same problem as well..something half and hour quit to previous kodi menu..i switched off screen saver, latest firmware, roote..my old himedia Q5 II has no problem..

cant find any solution..

Mine is totally cannot go in Kodi.
But after i on Mibox for one hour and left it idle while working, off it and on again then Kodi is running again.
Spoiled my plan that day to watch Man Utd vs Arsenal. bruce.gif

Nowadays, Mibox lag after the firmware update on MiBox. Seller no give me solution to this.

Not yet. Mine has not arrived in Malaysia yet.
