Follow up with them they said the MNP is rejected. Ask them why? They said because the number doesn't belong to me. Wtf? I ask them what number was submitted? They state my number. So I ask, that's my number, right? They said yes. So I ask them why you give me that reason? They said don't know, just resubmit the MNP request.

They also state my case closed already because was rejected so I need to resubmit. I ask them why you close case but didn't notify me? They said they sent SMS to me. I said I didn't receive so they said maybe system error.

Then I pura2 ask them when is the end of my billing cycle and what is the consequence of porting out after the deadline? I said, if you didn't notify me that my MNP was rejected, why should I be liable to pay for 1 more month? They said I still have a few more days to resubmit. Legally, they have a point, but I'm damn pissed.

I recorded all the calls. A few times when the customer rep don't know how to answer my questions they hang up on me. Finally I got hold of one guy who willing to confirm some things with me like the MNP request was received on 18/7. But I'm damned pissed I ask him if I resubmit but you delay/reject again then how? He told me to just resubmit and at this point we can talk anything. His actual words. Asshole.

Depending on how this goes I might submit a complain to MCMC even though they probably won't do anything, upload the calls to YouTube and write a proper post here detailing all the buffoonery of Celcom Customer Service. If Celcom fucks around with my MNP again I will cancel my number and just get a new XOX number. Fuck them.

Also, to avoid the MNP rejected, I paid them in advance for July's bill on the 18/7. Guess what? Their system didn't acknowledge receipt. I paid with cash through online banking, not credit card. Another headache I have to endure with Celcom.

Note: I do not have any supplementary lines.

Are you sure you can have a phone call and online at the same time? Try this: With your phone connected to a pc, enable usb internet tethering. On your pc, download something. While downloading, try to make a call. During a call, see if there's internet data transfer on your pc. Try it on 4G, then repeat with 3G.

Example:
Magic Sim2.5 sen/min
10sen/min other telco
Suddenly call 30 sen and why
Block from celcom to Celcom 12 min

straight report skmm jer if they ported you out JUST after the new billing cycle and charge u 1 whole month instead of on pro rate basis

i have reported numerous cases to skmm, mostly with regards to probs with telcos, all the outcomes in my favour, including 1 sexual harassment case, i think that nutjob jailed already, all thanks to skmm

between now and the 24th, just go and harass the staff to speed up the process, and tell them if they wait until the next billing cycle to port u out then charge u for 1 whole month, u'll report to skmm

my sexual harassment case? i advertised pretty regularly at mudah. got 1 bodo hamsap fella always pretend to be interested to buy, when i respond to his whasapp, he straightaway sent lewd pictures, waited a few minutes, if i didn't respond, sent his apologies, salah hantar katanya...salah hantar paler hotak dia...
it happened a few times, and i never respond. never say a word, just straightaway deleted it
the last time it happened, i printscreen everything (i'll never forget the day i have to describe to skmm investigative officer,in my testimony, the picture of the dick, tegang, got mani and whatnot puke.gif ) and file a report with skmm
then i replied his whatsapp, said i just reported him to skmm, gave him the skmm report number

yes they did, came all the way from kuantan to terengganu, recorded my statement, take evidence from my phone, etc...spent the whole afternoon with them until abt 7pm
they told me the whole interview in details thingy was the final step before the authorities go and cekup that bastard, and asked me not to erase the evidence, don't lose the phone etc, just in case that maniac try to deny it by deleting everything on his phone, and be ready to be called to the court and be a witness, if that bastard is stubborn enough and choose to go to trial instead of mengaku salah saja
i didn't follow up with my case officer though, what happened after that
but i don't know why, i have a feeling, this news article, one of the suspects remanded, is in relations to my case, but i can't confirm it though

I complained to SKMM this morning. But I don't think for my case they will take any action. They told me they will try to resolve the matter with Celcom but I told them I'm fed up with Celcom, my billing cycle ends on Sunday and I don't want to pay 1 more sen to Celcom so I want to terminate my number before Sunday. So the officer ask me I still want to lodge a complain or not? So I ask the officer, basically they can't take any action against Celcom la? The officer basically said yeah, but I can still lodge a complaint with them. Sigh... So just lodge la.

3rd time already request MNP with Celcom. Now pending. 2 times they reject me with error code SP54 - some/all numbers do not belong to owner. I ask Celcom, in the application, my details and number belong to me, right? They said yes. So I ask them why you reject me and give me that ridiculous reason? They can't give me a reasonable reason and said they don't know, ask me to call XOX and clarify and resubmit my MNP request. I ask them clarify what? The problem is clearly on your side? Fuckers told me to just call XOX, they said is standard procedure when MNP rejected. So I call XOX and they said SP54 of course is not their fault. For error SP54 I need to call Celcom to verify the number belongs to me. XOX said if port in request of course they will accept. Sigh.. Celcom ask me to call XOX, XOX ask me to call Celcom.

So I call Celcom and say I want to terminate my number, they said try and wait until tomorrow see whether the MNP successful or not.

Also, twice Celcom said will open case for me, investigate the matter and give me reference number. But, they just close the case without informing me. I have to call them up and ask what's the status of the case? I ask them why you close case didn't notify me? If the next action I have to take is to resubmit my MNP request why didn't they inform me? They said they sent SMS to me. Bullshit. Twice also I didn't receive any SMS regarding this matter. Told them I didn't receive any SMS, they said maybe it's their system error. I have this all recorded but it's pointless. SKMM can't take any action.

So headache.. I ordered something from GemFive and gave this number that I want to terminate. If I terminate the number, how will the delivery guy call me? Fucking Celcom.
