Monday 18/7 with the help of
digilife sent a request to port out to XOX. Didn't receive any SMS so Tuesday 19/7 early morning called Celcom to ask status they said still processing. Today 20/7 at 2am like that tried to call them but seems their whole system down or something. Call nobody pick up, website also down. Just now managed to reach them and they said don't know why the MNP taking so long so open case that will take 8 days to solve.
My billing cycle ends on the 24th. If they port me out on the 25th I will have to pay RM80++ for August even though it's just 1 day.
Damn pissed.
I suspect they are playing dirty tricks and delaying my MNP.
Do you guys know how to make official complaint about this?

Follow up with them they said the MNP is rejected. Ask them why? They said because the number doesn't belong to me. Wtf? I ask them what number was submitted? They state my number. So I ask, that's my number, right? They said yes. So I ask them why you give me that reason? They said don't know, just resubmit the MNP request.
They also state my case closed already because was rejected so I need to resubmit. I ask them why you close case but didn't notify me? They said they sent SMS to me. I said I didn't receive so they said maybe system error.
Then I pura2 ask them when is the end of my billing cycle and what is the consequence of porting out after the deadline? I said, if you didn't notify me that my MNP was rejected, why should I be liable to pay for 1 more month? They said I still have a few more days to resubmit. Legally, they have a point, but I'm damn pissed.
I recorded all the calls. A few times when the customer rep don't know how to answer my questions they hang up on me. Finally I got hold of one guy who willing to confirm some things with me like the MNP request was received on 18/7. But I'm damned pissed I ask him if I resubmit but you delay/reject again then how? He told me to just resubmit and at this point we can talk anything. His actual words. Asshole.
Depending on how this goes I might submit a complain to MCMC even though they probably won't do anything, upload the calls to YouTube and write a proper post here detailing all the buffoonery of Celcom Customer Service. If Celcom fucks around with my MNP again I will cancel my number and just get a new XOX number. Fuck them.
Also, to avoid the MNP rejected, I paid them in advance for July's bill on the 18/7. Guess what? Their system didn't acknowledge receipt. I paid with cash through online banking, not credit card. Another headache I have to endure with Celcom.
