I wonder y no one complaint dat this lappy is very damn laggy when play DOTA, can anyone plz recommend me a setting so that I can play Dota smoothly? I try to put performance, but end up more laggy, it is not only laggy, it hang for many times too. OMG...I really feel like wanna throw this thing away when playing dota. I tot a very low spec laptop now can oso play Dota smoothly as it is a very long time ago game. But I am wrong, I tot gaming laptop mean for WOW etc. If really no solution, i will consider sell it n buy another lappy with better GC...

**** Even my Pentium 3 pc with 64mb geforce GC can play Dota smoothly eventhough the graphic is a bit ugly, but this lappy is using a better processor n better GC, how come still so lag?

i put performance and play CS..teruk then ever..but DOTA i got no complaints except the heat that can burn my mobo..

maybe your GPU got problem? Before this when i firstly use my lappy it got freeze problem.. but after for a time... it looks ok and less happen..

wow.. ur pentium 3 can play dota.. how many ram?

i just send my lappy to hp sc. cause my temp of gpu is quite high i think.start pc 70-74oC..leave with winamp will increase to 80+-..sumtime can reach 90+-oC..iszit took a long time for them to repair?coz have sum work n need to use the lappy..anybody who have send to sc can give review on tht?

only AMD-based lappies will have high temperature problem ? How about Intel C2D ?

tht one i dunno,coz the prob for me came from GPU,meean the graphic card rite? not the cpu

karipap, later when u collect back ur lappy, pls update us.. wanted to know what they change.. and oso whether the temp decrease or not... my GPU even hotter than urs, start ard 80C alredi and stood at 92C under normal use... the other day reached 99C..

What series are you using ? V37xx ?
I start to regret that i never visit this page before I pay my deposit...

For my case is, my GPU is not hot at all! Stay at 80C after playing DOTA, but performance really sux to the max....

Erm, got problem means I hav to check with HP ad? I never try other Compaq lappy to play Dota, dunno how's the performance...

My pentium 3 is 768mb RAM...with win xp...lol...

my compaq only 1.6ghz max.. with 1.5gb ram.. i tried at 800mhz(underclocked) also ok but with customized xp

but now my lappy juz got back from service and im not plan to play dota anymore using this lappy..

I copy the whole War3 file from my another pc directly, but does dat really make such big difference?

wont.but its more secure if u plan to go waranty service, change back to ur ori ram.in case they give u lame reasons like ur new ram is not suitable and spoil ur lappie.so owaz kp ur ori ram as well.
