There is Performance, Balance, Quality, but in preview, it seems dat Quality setting give smoother 3d graphic, in Performance, it will appear many jagged.... I tot performance sud be better?

because i thought quality = good quality so it will more lag.. performance like need to sacrifice the quality.. so i juz choose in between

No wonder i play with performance, feel like the graphic so cacat 1.... smooth? Dun feel smooth either...

I've turned on my laptop for 2 days, it feels quite laggy n the processor meter always hit 100%, I only open limewire, aTube catcher, WLM, WMP, n firefox, but it use 90-100% processor...

Or Vista is eating too many processor? Gotta try win XP....

So if i wan to reformat the laptop now...reformat the Vista, n reinstall xp 1st then vista, does dat means my Vista become not genuine copy ad?

hi.... im a 3754TU user and have problem to install xp, because the lappy cant detect the hdd, i already browse through the bios, and theres no function to set the sata to ide mode.... any idea?

for me, i hope i never call the service centre or go visit them.coz i perfer ntg happen to my lappie.haha.yeah..dell come the next day nia..summore settle it infront of u directly.u shud juz set it to normal.normal is owas recommended.for DOTA, try set for higher quality reso in its video option.however it will be hotter than expected.ur playing with graphic cards..the hotter the better, but the hotter the more dangerous.

not sure. but i noe some ppl here use pendrive ler..dunno how..however u can try set the bios as well for cd for initial detection.

prefer window VISTA.
Ask vista mainly in graphic.
although start up slow, but can add RAM to perfor better.

how did u instal xp with a pendrive lastime?need to put program in the pendrive ka?mind to tell me?wanna learn.

ya put the driver in the pendrive ma, then press the f6 de lo, thought u know de , learn from u one le, anyway , my mouse pad there , got one up and down de not functioning wor, maybe driver didnt installed, wad is the driver for the mouse can scroll up and down de ah ?

right click on destop > nvdia display

cant really recall back coz the laptop at home.. juz got back from service

thanks for the link but this one is the same method as slipstream the driver pack right?.... which will be my last option because my college wifi so suck, hardly can dload things from the net.... interested wif the usb method

u need to choose the name of the s-ata driver

i oso read that pdf..not so sure wats its about.they copy all the windows xp installation cd into the pendrive and together with the sata hdd installer ka?or isit they create another new windows xp cd which includes the sata installer?

Guys.. I need help.. I just formatted my Presarion V3337TU. The problem is when i tried to install the driver for audio & modem, it cant recognize. I downloaded the driver from the compaq official website. Can sumbody help me to solve this prob?

i mean the method that Jacksonngu mention.... btw im having problem to extract the driver files..... im able to proceed untill the page where u can select where u want to extract the file, but then i received a message about file being corrupted or something like that when i want to proceed to extracting the files..... and its happened to all the drivers files that i downloaded, xp or vista.... wtf? not even a single file succesfully extracted( there were 20+- files)..
and all of them r from Hp/compaq website.... other drivers ive dloaded from intel, marvel yukon, websites, they r fine....
i wonder what did i do wrong and if any of u guys facing the same thing....

i tested already yesterday.. i put at performance.. then

GeForce Go 6150 > Performance & Quality Settings > Image setting > Performance

Then set GPU using 16 bit display instead of 32 bit. Then i run everest, it show GPU run at 100mhz

Then i open my lappy for half day it still stay at about <80c
But it not feel that hot as before..
