do anyone know where to download previous bios version? i have flash the bios to f.39 but it cant detect dvddrive.

Same oni la...i try to set that to maximum power saving also same...canot lower down the heat also....

i set lower color bit, lower resolution and observe for some time...heat still same...i also dun undastand...by right lower down the setting should use less power and slow sdown the speed....stupid 6150...hahaha

try use AMD power monitor to lower down ur proc to 800Mhz

no use la.its damn freaking.lastim i told u ppl my temp wont over 84C.max 84C.even after a long CS game.but after installing it..wow..94C ler!!!i direct change bck to default setting and uninstal..unluckily..it stays 85-86C liaw..normal heat 79C..sheesh..

the v3000 series got really less bios feature to tweak with. :

Yeah. I found ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/ site.. It keep old driver and bios. but I dunno which one for v3000 series... Anyone using v3100 amd series? mind to tell me your bios pack code? btw what QLB?

thanks, already installed quick launch... the problem solved.. anyway, if i send to the hp centre to repair dvddrive, how much do you think it gonna cost?

duno la...but that undervolt thing not bad also...but not as helpful also...if u really wan to cool down ur lappy proc, just use AMD power monitor to set ur proc to 800Mhz..the heat will never go pass 45c....

Now all AMD user need something to underVolt GPU, anyone who found this method please share here!!!

by the way...dont undervolt less than 800Mhz!!! my lappy turn unstable and got distorted screen and hang, then i have to restart...

apart from mobo... is there any major problem with the dvd-drive? mine often dont read the cd. i have to try few times....

just collect my lappie this mng from hp after 2 week repair.. yup they changed the mobo and the dvdrw drive.
paid them RM198 to extend the warranty for another year..

thinking to get lenovo next.. vry impress with the y410..
