anyway, to those who got problem, mind to list out your model, and date of purchase? like which month and so so.

Hi guys, I just ordered a V3415AU direct from HP. Usually, how long it will take for the delivery... Ordered it on 19th July 2007..

good choice. if you are in KL 1 week only. I got mine slightly more than a week. Worry free from retailer scam.

just back from a pc shop saw new acer and hp put beside. From far can see the comparison. Acer screen dull and pale than HP, HP screen more rich colour and brighter. Acer is thicker than HP and also bigger than HP. Acer has 7000 geforce while hp still remain 6150 if i not mistaken. HP no webcam, but acer got webcam but no bluetooth. The lappy casing HP wins. Acer still remain cheap due to cheapy plastic like outdated pc eventhough is has gemstone outlook. In term of performance i not quite sure coz both running on different OS. HP can support 4gb ram but acer only 2gb max.

mine worst only at around 800MHZ.....but if i set the power scheme to home/office desk, it run 2.0Ghz...

other all same with V3415AU
but i wan to know the Nvidia Geforce Go6150 can share up to how many MB of Ram?
according to HP website it say that can share up to 287MB of Ram.
But i had been told buy an expert technician that its only can support max up to 128MB only even its show that can share 256MB or higher coz the bios only can support up to 128MB only.
its true o not?
can play need for speed carbon o not this display chipset?

thats the lowest I guess, as when I just purchase, my laptop also 800mhz while using battery, I not sure which setting I'd adjust, now the speed is always at 1.6ghz no matter I on with adapter or battery -__-"

I not sure the latest model can support how many ram, but for mine, I can share up 256 from my 2gb ram, and the integrated itself has 256, total 512

right click on the desktop > properties > screen saver > power > change to 'portable/laptop' .

usually when you choose this mode,cpu will only run half of its speed,with assumption that u already install AMD Power Now

good package better than rm2199, but still no windows

format for SATA HD is difren with IDE HD.try ask in the format section.

About my lappie.
i juz called the service centre.its a nice num.1800888588.took me about 1 minit to reach the operator and discuss out my prob.
his idea is ask me to extend my waranty for 2 more years.erm..the weird thing is he found my waranty ending on sept, not july.hahaha.im such shocked!!!that giv me more time to service it lor.hapy!!!but at the same time...not a gud sign!cz i don rely plan to claim waranty cz i belef my lappie is a free-prob lappie.

Never tried with XP. I installed Vista with it. No problem here. And I thought there is no driver for XP in this model?

disable the sata in bios?
as this method always found in v32xx series, all the users disable sata drive in bios right?
