im also buying this V3415 laptop.. . suprisingly no reseller carry this laptop in JB. So i order frm HP directly and they deliver it to warehouse to collect.

Any advice what i should check upon collect the laptop? I worry about dead/bright dot on the lcd. Anyway to check it since if comes with freedos only.

Also plans to upgrade it to 2gb third party ram, wonder where is the slot ?

Price V3415 = $2139 (so far cheapest offered) + 199 warranty upgrade
go KL (to n fro) = $50
Cc card = 2% (some wants 1.6% - 5%) <--- excuse CC bank charge them but charges different. crap excuse!
total = $2430

Buy direct from HP
Price V3415 = $2199 + 199 upgrade warranty
transport = $0
cc card = $0
total = $2398

lolz.. save $32 + 10 hours (journey to KL)

if only reseller in lawyat don't charge me cc 2%, i already go up buy liao.

I bought direct from HP free delivery to JB warehouse.
Price is $2199 + 199 = $2398 (24 months installment, $99 a month) comes with the current HP promotion free gift.
Totally new, can still smell of the fresh plasticki.. haha.
So far only face difficulty installing driver, but now resolved already. Not even 1 dead pix or bright dot.
Cool mysterios look with blue led lights, even the ac socket have blue led.
Upgraded ram to 2 g's cost me $310 kingston. Havent fully tested it.. but looks great.

yup. i order directly with HP n get the HP Black Premium together. Where did u bought yours? Pay $2199 instead of $2139 in the market. I didnt get any JJ voucher la..

For the SOnic speakers, i wonder if they would check the identity of the claimer? hehe.. Im old already.. no more schooling.

ANyone got any suggestion to enhance my laptop screen. I have 2g ram. But plain old boring window XP screen.. sigh~~

err.. i mean like add in some features. like WVista or Mac panel.. any idea where to get those. 2g ram should b enuff to support these enhancement sw rite..

how do we fully test the laptop. I havent really actually test it fully. Only had a game installed --> maplesea. N tab into other ppl wireless to play. Lags n dc quite often. But ability to search for internet connection, no problem.

Hv been using it to watch some porno porno movie.. hehe. No lags. looks fine.

anyone could recommend me a game that can fully test the system.. not those super high end game pls. those just nice compatible with Nvidia 6150.

mine is a v3415au. Suprisingly i manage to install the driver for the unknown devices. I chatted with the online tech, ask me install the NVd drv set then install the quick launch pad or something. Now in my device manager.. no unknown device. no more yellow question mark.

gosh... my dvdrw reads so loud. WTF ! getting hotter n hotter....

i finished testing it with a 3d game.. 'flyff'. graphic was ok.. but tempeture went up to 120c... 130c auto shutdown.

anyone wanna buy my laptop ?? hehe.
