Great news! Just confirmed with Mi Malaysia that my set is a Malaysia set with one year warranty.

It's such a hassle to send in for fixing but I would advise you do it soon especially within the warranty period. Because heard that some people's screen got worst after spotting the screen issue. They will change the faulty screen for you. Then it would look as pretty as it should be in the first place. Eyesore issue solved.

Seems like Xiaomi really have inadequate QC issue.

my RN3 almost bordering to white, there is a very very light yellow tinge. not noticable unless you have another HP with white screen next to it. totally acceptable to me. this i haven't tweak any display settings inside.

the speaker is VERY LOUD and this is not max volume. it occur to me when the speaker was facing me and i was 8 feet away on the bed.

i like that that the miui has a build in a stats reader on amount of data being transfer real time above in the notification bar.

and the fingerprint reader unlock is awesome! there is NO MORE NEED to press power button or tap the screen, then do the unlock pattern. just put finger there and VIOLA!

there is a little thing which i find it a tad annoyance is when you scroll to the bottom and top, the fonts seems to bounce up or down.

i just notice the redmi note 3 has a warmer screen, feel subpar than Mi4i display

Have you tried adjusting the color temperature?

some of them get yellowish screen and some not. depends on which brand of display panel they get?
by the way, mine is sharp. you might check yours too.

Keep tap the kernel version in setting> about, then it will pop up a list, press the first one and it will shows your panel display in what brand.

Can you comment on the rn3 rear camera and front selfie camera?

anyone here send your phone ( or other model )to sc for repair? normally how long they fix?

i have similar issue, im using the 32gb, sound is not loud.. not on table or anything covering the speaker, especially when using speaker phone, struggle to hear with max volume.. another thing, when connected to bluetooth in car audio, also volume is low output to car speaker, all this max volume setting.. anyone having this issue?

Rear camera tends to under and over exposed in extreme conditions. But it's good using HDR on. But slower in taking pics.

No. My RN3 is louder compare to my Samsung phone. Louder with headphone and weirdly very loud with Bluetooth.
