Same here... I dont need installment on my 20k outstanding, but if got 12 months free can save some interest is ofcourse even better... but the downside risk of 3% upfront is something i'm unwilling to take.

For those who really need installment then I suppose 3% is a "decent" risk...

3% of 120 mil is 3.6 mil.
so i think 120 mil is in the pool, and assume each apply 10k, they can accommodate 12,000 applications.

meaning mbb has allocated rm3.6mil of fees to be waived. since the 3% is based on BT amount, it varies.

so 3% is the fee, not the BT amount?

if yes, then still ok

Just received the most annoying reply from MBB after I sent in my BT application this morning. Looks like they don't even know their own promotions and terms and conditions!!! Worst still is that my email subject says 0% by application and I used the 0% bt application form on the website which clearly shows the promo start date of 15 September. Am so ultra annoyed.

Kindly be informed that we are unable to process your balance transfer under the promotion of 1% one-time upfront fee as it has ended on 31/8/16. Hence appreciate your confirmation whether you wish to proceed with the application under the normal rate of 3%.

Yepp. I replied them with the link plus screen shots of their website and also screenshot of the big picture 0% on their form.

Am so annoyed and will call them after lunch if no reply.

Can't believe they cannot even process properly or read the form or check before replying.

After reading the comments here, I attempted to apply for the 12-month, 0% MBB BT through online, selected Plan-G. Just tried with a small amount of 1.5k and the application has been approved in principle. 10 minutes later, I received an email stating that the application for Maybank Balance Transfer Programme was approved and the amount will be debited to my Maybank credit card within 3 business days. Waiting for the payments to my other credit cards.

where can see got allocation of 120 mil? any mbb link?

They replied me saying sorry sorry sorry, they will now forward my application for processing.

When I applied this morning, I was assigned a case number. 6 hours later, I've been assigned a new case number which is 168 numbers higher. I hope that doesn't mean that 168 people applied for BT between those times, and now I've been bumped to the back. Grrrr...

aiya no worries lah. their TT number is just running numbers of requests going to them, not just purely for BT mah.

Just call Mbb BT department, here are the information i get:

Example BT for RM1200, 0%　12 months.

3% fee = 1200x 3%= RM36 , will be waive in 30 days
GST 6%= 36x 6%= RM2.16, not to be waive.

I'm still very grateful for the promotion . I'll be paying RM19.80 GST for a BT of RM33k. Even my husband not so generous to settle RM33k for me one shot. Haha.
