Didn't know that mapking can load the speedtrap poi. I've been relying on my nuvi for trips.
Does mapking display the speedtrap limit like nuvi? eg: 60/80/90/110 kph speed limits

29 pages from january till now, from the press release of the model till the current wm6 flash. Price of the unit from $2800 to current $1989 ( 3 weeks back). So, which begs the questions, any problems anyone encountered with the phone so far? I have had a pretty bad experience with it - the USB jack broke off the phone - had to send it back to the importer ( phonestar ) to get the motherboard replaced. Got it back, but now very cautious with the plugging/unplugging of jacks.... |

Dear klmc,
it is disheartening to know of the rate of depreciation but i'll be darned if i do not put the unit to good use so max out its goodness and then move on. mean while, i'm curious of your aggresiveness in "plugging/unplugging" of usb cable. LoL i've not heard of any such cases in any pda threads and yours seem to be the first leh.. treat it with TLC - tender loving care la unless you're planning to change to a new pda soon since u appear frustrated with it? =) Btw, have u upgraded to WM6? |

yup upgraded to wm6 , takes more of the system memory. but boy the msn chats/voice clips thing in WM6 is great!
My unit was in the shop for 2 months , dunno whether its fresh gear or the local importer's fault. |

Hi fansoption,
R u using a task manager to close down all ur apps instead of minimising them? If u are, set those that u wanna launch fast (contacts, calendar...) as exceptions to the rule. They should launch without lag now. Hi KLMC, Wow... 2 months is just WAAAYYY too long. But sending in O2 and Dopod devices will take more or less the same amount of time. HP and Palm on the other hand is fast. So I think it's d service centre's problem. After all, when the customer calls to screw, we'll call the shop n not d service centre. |

If u wanna use it as a media player, I would suggest using Mortplayer. Since it has an equalizer setting, u can tweak it till the sound suits ur liking.

The volume is a bit too soft isn't it? Can't really use it as a mp3 player unless you use a pair of headphones. The phone volume is bloody loud though, hurts your ears at max volume. |

imo, the pda's phone volume is louder than enough while if used as a music player via its speakers...the only way to increase sound levels is via tweaking your music files' bcz its not as loud.
Question, WM6 now allows for msn voice chats ah? tht's cool...! |

QUOTE(klmc @ Oct 2 2007, 05:15 PM) yeah WM6 msn voice clips/chat is bloody cool. quite fast too. So much better than poking at the keyboard/transcribers to chat Well, you could always use skype to chat. For me this is good news bcz most contacts are on msn...else it probably wouldn't excite me that much. |

QUOTE(sohlican @ Oct 1 2007, 07:11 PM) You can try SPB Finance, I'm using it now to track my daily expenses and for my budgeting, it works very well especially the reporting function, you can see your expense by category, payee, and you can choose which period for the report. |
