Hi jc79,
wah, u sound so exasperated! Errr... to me, PDA Expert staff always seem to be too busy to layan me whenever I go into their shop. So i prefer to go to Freshgear. Their deals are better and they do offer 2 years warranty instead of the standard 1.
P535 is a mid level PDAphone with GPS and an autofocus 2mp camera as its selling point. It is also the ONLY PDAPhone to use a SiRF Star III GPS chipset.
It's an excellent device

I don't use one but my friend does. Borrowed it for a week last time. Hahaha...
Sending SMS/MMS can be done with the Messaging application in the phone itself - no need 3rd party soft.
Phone functions very well. Calls are loud n clear. But I usually use a bluetooth handsfree.
Other than that, the phone is very stable. I didn't face any problems with the phone. GPS is very responsive!
Depends on how u use lorr... it's a good device!

@ JtuneD:
Pros of P535 over Touch: 1) WAY faster processing power (hell of a difference to play media files especially video files. I watch downloaded shows on this baby, as smooth as on a pc) 2) GPS enabled (really good useful stuff, ask STIMIX aka Chicken Little Guy aka GPS guru and he'll preach the godliness of GPS and tell you why humans cannot live without GPS =P) 3) Larger ROM 4) It has one of the loudest speakers. 5) Camera with Auto Focus
Cons: 1) Does not have TouchFlo technology, nothing like iPhone's technology so quite ignorable. 2) Slightly bigger than Touch 3) Slightly heavier than Touch 4) Boxier than Touch? lol
If you're all for practicality and usability and productivity, by all means get the P535. You'll want one! =)

@ jc79 & JtuneD :
Kindly note that the P735 is 3g enabled BUT does not include GPS connectivity.
@ jc79 : P535 / P 735 is probably one of the best to get at the moment in terms of price/features/built quality from the Asus stables. Bear in mind that quite a few newer Asus models boasts various connectivity and features but runs on 200Mhz CPUs, which i'll avoid them personally because it is too slow to run those powerful connectivities and features imo.
HTC wise, i'd probably choose the D810 (the one marketed under HTC brand of course) or go to the extreme with HTC Kaiser a.k.a TyTn II, which is one hell of a device with pratically all the features in it plus a tilting screen! but of course with the penalty of a heavier weight.

Yeap..wat Strik3 said is true..with the price like around 2K, i would go for the Asus P535 with the rich feature it has! Moreover, i'm juz a newbie in PDA's As for HTC, D810 & Tytn II is the powerful with rich function PDA's around..but price wise is killing me..RM2.7K++ & RM3.2K++..
