I think it's still early to tell right now. Providers other than TIME might have more signifiant changes on their packages bandwidth & price.
Based on the charge per Mbps for Consumer packages, TIME is already ahead and lowest.
Even though it has changed to somehow more attractive packages, usually you are allowed to do package migration, and contract will be reset.

We are TIME Authorised Distributor, Installer & Project Partner.

Well, Archer C1200 will reported some intermittent buggy issues and we are still monitoring closely.

You may use back your Asus RT-AC87U router which has far more better performance and if you need help in configuring it, just feel free to buzz me.

Hi,

Please set it as auto and for Time Fibre Home Broadband, it will be auto assigned 203.121.65.239 & 8.8.8.8.

Alternatively please manually set as 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4

Of course you are also free to use others DNS such as OpenDNS.

Hi,

Only selected customers are entitled for the upgrade. How big is your intended coverage area?

The Archer C1200 is still suffering from intermitent buggy firmware issue.
Currently its still under monitoring stage where latest firmware has been injected. We will revert once the bugs have been fully resolved.

Hi, you ought to login to the router instead (the other device), rather than the ONU (fibre modem).

Your case, the VPN service should be configured on the router instead.

May I know which Router are you using?

We suggest you to perform a direct connection to the Fiber 'Modem' (ONU), and monitor to see if such disconnection issue persists.

Hi,

If you see the PON light indicator OFF, and LOS light blinking in RED every 2 secs, this is caused by the ONU (aka fibre modem) does not receive optical signals or does not connected.
Usual Cause : Fibre Cable damaged / Fibre Core breaks at Fast Connector's end / Fibre Connector not properly seated at ONU / Fibre Splitter High Reading etc.

What you can do is call to 1800 18 1818 (TIME Customer Service) and report the problem. SI will come over to check.
While waiting, try to hold the fibre fast connector firmly amd unseat it, and connect it back firmly, you will hear a tiny tickling sound if its properly seated.
