anyone experiencing extremely slow speed in Tropicana, PJ area? i'm getting 1mbps/75mbps from local server and 2.5mbps from fast.com

I'm at Kelana Jaya, I'm getting only 4mbps from fast.com and 5mbps from local server.

both of you confirmed my suspicion. there's a service degradation with time.

Who is this technical team to which you speak? Because it doesn't seem like the same team I spoke to on the phone. They just wanted to reset my network and call back in two hours if it is still a problem. Same line as every time I've ever had a problem. Is there a secret number to call to speak to technicians instead of level 1 script-readers?

Not really bashing the system. I know that almost all folks that call support have no idea what they're talking about and couldn't troubleshoot out of a paper bag, but for the tiny percentage of us that have training as network engineers (albeit 15+ years out of industry in my case), it's terribly frustrating.

It took one call to the right person (NOT front line helpdesk), and 20 mins later, it's fixed.

Well, my upload speed is fixed (278 or so). Download is now about 8mbps, which is admittedly better than 2.5.
