I used to subscribe to Astro IPTV 10mbps

I cancelled my Astro subscription and signed up for Time 100mbps.

It feels like 100mbps is worse off than the 10mbps from Astro.

Fair enough maybe since then we increased our streaming devices at home and increased our connected devices too.

Could it be a router problem, you think? I have a 2 year old Asus RT-N18U as the main router. I have a Dlink DIR-850L as the AP and a DAP-1650 range extender connected to the AP.

We have ~18 devices connected to the internet. What would be your recommendation?

Change the main router to one that supports MU-MIMO and use the RT-N18U as the AP or subscribe to a 2nd 100mbps line?

Saw TIME ads at my apartment, currently still with unifi 1 more year contract.
Just want to understand,

1. the termination penalty, i need to pay first then only TIME will rebate in bills ?
2. can the installation be done first before i terminate the Unifi ?

CS said call to 1800 is free... while 1300 is charged. Mobile and fixed line same as using the house phone $0.10 per minute. As long as got internet or wifi connected to your phone. Regardless where which country u are in...

Hi, I have been using Timenet for a while.  TImenet during installation gave me a Huawei white device with another Dlink cyclindrical device.  I think one of them is modem and the other is a router.  Not sure which is which as both has Lan port on them.  I connect the phone line to the white Huawei device though which Timenet provides a phone line which I do use though rarely.

I am now wondering if I can replace those two devices with one device?  I am looking at the Asus DSL-AC88u, which looks like a lamborgini.  Anyone successfully used this device from Asus to replace the two devices given by Time?  Is the phone line still be usable?

Hi..I have a bit of a problem here. I want to login to my router for port forwarding. When I enter 192.168.0.1 in Chrome or Firefox, it does not prompt to login page in the browser. It still loading like there is no tomorrow. But for Android Tether App, it is working.

And uhh, I forgot the default password format used for the router. I just remember putting the last 4 number of MAC address but I forgot the rest. I still use that password format.

According to my landlord the port for phone line is faulty so if i want to apply for any broadband they will need to pull the line from outside.
Any idea this kind of case how much would it cost usually?

Is there any current promotion going on for new registration?

I had been using Time since 2014.
I'm still using the original modem ( Huawei HG8240 ) & router ( Linksys E1200 ).
Past year had been getting unstable speed, hence now thinking of changing the router to Asus 1200 or 1300.

My question is, does one simply exchange the router?
What is the proper method and what are the things I should take note of?

Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

This 1=0 is for existing subscribers or new application?

Well that would mean that I need to buy yet another router. if I buy one I'll get an asus and flash it with Merlin firmware, but not looking to spend money. Either I stick with the C1200 or go back to my WDR4300 which is pretty old, but hey 802.11n still works pretty well. All y heavy use is via lan cable.

Can the issues with the AC1200 be solved?

and if I want to swtich back to my old router is it just a case of entering the PPPoE login and password into the WAN settings or is it something more comprehensive?

Doing spring cleaning this morning & the free tp link router & other thing/boxes are taking up space. Can I sell off the free router since I'm using my own?

Im sorry I have to disagree with you Mr. Time Fibre Asistant. From everything I'm reading the stock C1200 is absolute shit, not because of the hardware, but because of the utterly hopeless firmware. If you are a Time employee I hope you can get your company to feedback to TP-Link to fix this problem that has been ongoing.

Anyway, I appreciate your advice. I shall give both a try and decide which to stick with after some testing over a week or two. Thanks!

If I want to change from TM to TIME, does TIME still provide the switching rebate?

I think it's still early to tell right now. Providers other than TIME might have more signifiant changes on their packages bandwidth & price.
Based on the charge per Mbps for Consumer packages, TIME is already ahead and lowest.
Even though it has changed to somehow more attractive packages, usually you are allowed to do package migration, and contract will be reset.
