Yes is correct for ONU unit.

If LOS Blinking then due to Fibre Cut or disconnect.

Where you located both devices? Is the LAN 1 light up on ONU?
Connect the Wi-Fi Router ( WAN Port ) --> ONU ( LAN Port 1).

You can use your own router.
As AC1750 consider good already.

Before you want to setup PPPoE with TIME.
You have to reset the WS880 as TIME don't use VLAN Tagging.
To prevent problems, reset the WS880 first.
