i would like to knw how to setup IPv6 as well..  rclxms.gif
*
The simplest way is to set as Auto Detection.
Alternatively you could setup a new ipv6 session with TIME given login credentials.

Ipv6 Google Public DNS :
2001:4860:4860::8888
2001:4860:4860::8844

For PD, please enable it & choose SLAAC + Stateless DHCP.

If you successfully connected, you will be seeing your WAN IP as something like this 2001:F40:92E:1::1:3BB6
and your default gateway will be in the form of prefix fe80::/64

Thanks.

i got some questions to ask:

1. time said i get 1 month free but why am i being charged now when i just started using it for 1 month?

2. how come got RM10 stamp duty charge?

3. I was charged RM24.39 for something related on the first 3 days I get the broadband. Why?
*
Hi,

1) Could you please have a check on the breakdown of the charges by downloading the bill at selfcare.time.com.my under Billing section.

2) This is standard stamp duty charges, one time only.

3) This is prorated charges.

For further bill checking, feel free to contact customer care at 1800 18 1818.

Thanks.

is it? I thought I was just unlucky. Can request them to change to phone? mine is Panasonic pink color 1
*
Hi,

Was this phone set functioning fine previously ?

Please check your Huawei ONU, the Tel 1 indicator should be lit up.

If you pickup the handset, the Tel 1 indicator will start to blink.

If you still experiencing engaged tone, please try to restart the ONU.
If that doesn't help either, please make a report to TIME Customer Service @ 1800 18 1818.

* Meanwhile, you can try to plug in another phone set to test.

Thanks.

Hi, been user for 2 weeks for 100Mbps.

Problem: Frequent random disconnect. When it happens, it would take another 10-20s before it reconnects by itself. Only 3 user, only my PC is heavy user, the other two is normal Facebook/Youtube 480p (because WinPhone can't stream HD). Happens frequent enough to annoy the shit out of me. I am 100% sure congestion is not the cause.

I emailed to TIME, and they asked to provide ping/tracert. Please enlighten me how is this going to help them troubleshoot my problem? Does anyone has any idea how to log ping constantly over long period of time, so that I can show them the frequency of disconnection?
*
Hi,

For you to constantly ping.
Try the followings command at your Command Prompt :

ping 8.8.8.8 -t
ping google.com -t

For Trace Route, use
tracert google.com

This is not the proper way to pinpoint your random disconnection issue... May I know which Router are you using ?
Try to turn off your Router Wifi, test with cable connection to see if the same problem occurs.

Thanks.

not even a month don't know how many times I have ever restated my router. It is like a daily affair now... TIME send someone on Thursday to check, apparently he said issue could be due to power adapter. He changed the power adapter for the router, still same... sigh, who can  help me...
*
Hi,

What seems to be the symptoms that makes them think it's caused by the power adapter ?

Thanks.

I dont have so many power outlet near the ONU, seriously,  this Dlink router so problematic? some time it rebooted by itself, sometime if just hang, both green light but unable to connect until reboot... why can't I just get a replacement unit and try...
*
Hi,

If you have your TIME account login credentials with you, please do a hard reset on the Router, and perform a fresh reconfig.

How do you know it rebooted itself ? If it rebooted itself, you should be seeing All lights off --> orange power light --> Green Power light --> Orange Globe Light --> both green lights.

Do feedback your outcome for us to check.

Thanks.

need some advise.

i am using archer c7 for a few month with 100mbps package.
It was working fine until yesterday, the pppoe is not stable.

from the router, i can see the pppoe connected, and then disconnect after a few second.
this happened constantly. and during connected, i am able to surfing.

I did factory reset my router yesterday and it become normal after reset.
Now the pppoe issue happened again.

fyi, if i switched back to time router, everything working fine.

anyone know whats wrong with my router.
*
Hi,

What is the firmware version you are using ?

Please upgrade it to the latest.

Thanks.

I have done a reset with a pin and reconfigured before, work for a day and back to reboot issue. once the router ebooted when I was sitting in front of it, both lights went off then came back again.
*
Hi,

This happened very often ? Did it happen during the usage or it even rebooted itself when it's idle ?

I've scrolled back your post, the SI actually changed the Power adapter for you and the problem still persists ?
Please have a check on the power adapter being used, make sure its power output rating is 12V, 1.5A.
Also you have switched to different power outlet to test ?

If so, it may be a faulty unit, please kindly make a report to our Customer Service @ 1800 18 1818 to ask for a replacement unit.

Thanks.

Does powerline able to extend 5ghz signal? I am thinking to strengthen my 5ghz signal in my room and wonder the powerline helps. If yes, which model do u recommend?
*
Hi,

Yes it does. Depends on your ways of implementation.

If you are going to extend your 5GHz signal wirelessly, then you need a repeater/wireless extender.
You may go for TP-Link RE355 (AC1200).

By using this Powerline, you need to hook one unit up to your Router and the other end unit will be broadcasting wireless signal.
You may go for TP-Link TL-WPA8630P.

Thanks.

Changing the 5Ghz connection to highest possible connection makes it unconnectable & undiscoverable to my laptop.

However , changing the 5Ghz connection back to channel 36 makes it connected with internet access , but when i Surf , it says that there's no internet access. ( as per my first post on this problem )

Yes , my laptop support AC type. Last week I can surf smoothly, but this weekend when I got back home , I cant surf the net eventhough it says im connected and there's internet access.
*
Hi,

After you are connected to 5GHz wireless, your laptop shows it's Internet Access, but you are unable to surf ? Please do a ping 8.8.8.8.

Let us know the outcome.

Thanks.

Hi,

You may/may not be experiencing a direct effect as your current International routing may not be passing through the new FASTER route.
