They won't give you so much full day day quota 1 lar. They want to encourage you to download during off-peak times only
Imagine no peak and off-peak, everybody download during peak times then die lor. In the end, it's those majority ppl that use for mobile internet will rage because FB load slow etc etc |

QUOTE(Rudd @ Apr 6 2016, 09:25 AM) yep, enough for some. What plan is that?! 20GB for RM42?but, if they really honest with whole 100gb thing, deswai i'm suggesting to cut the crap and just give us full day 100gb quota for rm185. i'm willing to pay. I was on the following plans (Not too sure of the old one, actually) i128(?) iPhone > Switched to Smart 65 (RM65 for 5GB) > Changed to 75V (RM75 for 7GB) > Now thinking about DP68 or DP98 because of the rollover. Mum still on Smart65, there's a tablet plan (1GB which is absolute crap, so might cancel that) Tell me tell me what's that RM42 for 20GB! Gonna switch to that IMMEDIATELY! :-O (and get dad on board DiGi as well, and cancel silly 5mbps unifi) [edit] Just looked at the screencap again, it's "Digi Broadband 85"? Why issit so cheap for you? RM42? Searched for it, and saw it here: http://new.digi.com.my/broadband It's 8+12 and not 24/7 right? This broadband plan is not a postpaid plan, meaning I need to still keep my number and maybe get a cheap phone as hotspot or something? This post has been edited by jonnyha: Apr 6 2016, 03:34 PM |

ISP should invest more on upgrading their network & service, so that their network can sustain when there are a lot of bandwith being utilized by users 24/7. |

QUOTE(Rudd @ Apr 6 2016, 05:38 PM) with this mindset among ISP, then we will never get to have true internet service that we can use anytime we want. if work at home, why don't use fixed line Internet? Your case is more like the exception rather than the norm. Wireless broadband is about mobility, not a replacement for fixed-line especially for heavy-duty stufffrankly speaking, one do not always used the internet quota only for downloading big stuff. sometimes, we need high speed internet just to do our daily work at home, but how to do that if the 20GB anytime quota finished? need to wait for 70GB midnight quota, and then only can do work? ISP should invest more on upgrading their network & service, so that their network can sustain when there are a lot of bandwith being utilized by users 24/7. No matter how much telco invest in their backhaul network etc, there is still the limited spectrum which will put a cap on bandwidth and capacity. |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Apr 6 2016, 06:18 PM) u new to malaysia. Although Digi's profit dropped, they are still maintaining their CAPEX, props to them. Apparently maxis' package is extremely expensive to repay their CAPEX.ISP / Telco won't spend so much on network upgrade. they try to minimize the cost & maximize the profit |
