My installation for HOME Unifi Pro 100 is tomorrow. Just want to check with you guys something. I'm currently on Biz 20 using Asus AC68U router.

1. When the new plan is active, do I need to reset my router again to setup the new acc and password? I would rather prefer not to do this, because I have a lot of router settings set up already. But under WAN, I can't seem to find the option to choose the different Unifi accounts anymore, I can only see my userid and password etc.

2) port 4 of my Asus router will be used for hypptv?

no need to reset.you only need to change the login details/special isp requirement to UniFi Home if you want to use HyppTV.if not, just stick with UniFi BIZ where ur port 4 can be used for internet.

then restart your router.

No need to change. Already double confirm with them.

Oh ok. I'm using my own router so in that case I shouldn't need anything else then.

Yes I understand what you mean. That is what I wanted to do. I remembered when I set up my account, there are options for us to choose like Unifi Business, Unifi VIP etc. But now it is only my userid and password etc.

How to change? Just change the userid and password you mean?

Yeah just on the phone to them to check status and they can't find any record of order being done on their system. Organised as always!

I'm using Merlin firmware so the screen is a little bit different.

But you are right Jason, only that I need to click a couple more to get there.

Thanks a lot to you! nod.gif nod.gif

I've been thinking of using Merlin firmware for sometime. Is it possible to revert back to factory firmware by downloading from asus website and install the firmware?

Yes of course. The firmware itself is based on the original Asuswrt. So there is no special installation process. You upgrade the firmware like you do for the original. You can flash back to Asus official firmware any time.

Here is the latest Merlin's. Just choose your router.

No, I'm using Alcatel-Lucent I-240G user posted image and my own router (Primary: TP-Link WDR-4300 & Secondary: Draytek Vigor 2130n).
