my P4E 3.0 prescott idle about 42c - 44c, full load about 65c .. using a cm vortex dream hsf.. (using a intel brand mb)

before this mb, using a albatron mb, idle always show me 52c-55c, full load about 72c.. dont know what happen is this..

I need a bit help.My motherboard spoil and it's soket 478 Intel 865PE asus motherboard.

I would like to ask , where can I find soket 478 Intel 865PE at lowyat plaza ? There are a lot of shops I went there and mos of them said they didn't sell it already.Any brand also can , but it's good if I find back the same motherboard Asus chipset.
Which shop selling it ?

hmm i bought my Asus P4P800X last year end from Czone.have you checked shops like cycom,viewnet,sri etc?if im not mistaken they still have various brands of s478 mobos like msi,biostar or asrock biggrin.gif

s478 mobo is almost an antique nowadays. Or you can try your luck at garage section. icon_rolleyes.gif

if you want to get a s478 mobo from lyp u better hurry cuz stocks are hard to find smile.gif

max3 is abit's s478 mobo if im not mistaken.a very good board. laugh.gif

What do you mean by shop warranty ? is it 3 years ?? sorry i am quite noob is these things.

i bought my Asus mobo from a shop in lowyat plaza.the shop's name is Czone.and my motherboard has a 1 year warranty from the shop.means if there's any problem i have to send it back to the shop for RMA. biggrin.gif

Yes it's a MAX-3 mobo. Very good in overclocking. brows.gif brows.gif Asus mobo if not mistaken sohuld be having 1 year warranty only on new mobo.

my motherboard already 2 years plus almost 3 years.So if i give back to the shop will they send back to the factory and fix it ? or something else they will do ?

If like that maybe they won't help you to send for RMA or they might make some charges upon your RMA process as they need to use the delivering service to send to overseas.

using my intel mobo for around 2.5years...no prob at all coz only can use it at stock (can't oc or whatsoever.... sweat.gif ) but intel mobo are good if u are not an overclocker...very stable...

I also have been using this mobo.Well i can said no even blue problem occured as no o/c done on it and the motherboard layout also looks simple compare to others.
