I viewed this as a big failure by Samsung since they are so well established already
How can a basic browser like Chrome can not even work well on the phone ? Anyway I don't use Chrome at all on all my androids and therefore doesn't affect me

I don't face that faceservice error too
I had yet experience any freeze/ auto restart since day one 18 March using the phone. I still suspect such issues could be due to incompatible 3rd party utilities app, app from unofficial sources, 3rd party unknown apk etc

I only face the hang from Chrome. Samsung really shall more testing before release.

That faceservice bugs I Google around it is there since S6 on marshmallow. Something Samsung apps not so compatible in marshmallow.

Also I read if you turn on Smart Stay then your front camera may fail sometimes.

It do is failure Samsung didn't test in proper before release.

UAG is my favor last time but I not going to buy it anymore. Those semi transparent case can simply scratch within an hour. It is too easier to scratch.

The Samsung clear back case also drop quality and easier scratch, mine one already scratch. Now using cheap slim transparent TPU case. I think soon I will use it naked. Haha!

Same. Had it with my old S4. The button that time was hard but the backside was quite sturdy. Not a single scratch.

Now, the buttons are soft but the back quality is not that good.

Today after play with demo set i feel the screen is too small for me

Gezzz too many reports of hanging recently makes me in dilemma whether should change or not.

Well, it is a new sim card. I bought Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with Maxis Plan, they give me new Nano sim card

I already use the sim card with my the other one Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and no problem.

My phone keep hang and crash. wtf

Looks like S7 Edge has the best heat dissipation among last year flagships and its little brother.

Finally decided to buy S7 Edge.

SOT is low... not as what i expected.

Average use such as fb, light gaming COC, browsing the web, whatsapp, telegram, email....

Thoughr I could get SOT 6hours or 7

I really don't understand, how you all manage to make a well made phone hang or crash? Mine happened restart it itself and can't power on because I put it in a box with a case. It was too tight, and the box press the case power button and volume place and the phone keep turn and on itself till I open the box again after couple hours. The phone then self restart again then can't power on for 1 minutes. I Google it, found out that Samsung made this to protect the motherboard. I guess the phone resort too many time and when I take it out it was very very very hot. My bad. But till now I didn't even face any hang/crash. Maybe it is because of the not well optimise app cause that problem. Keep your eye open and alert on those crappy app. Especially those China made app.

This I agree. Compared to my previous phones, s7 stays very very cool even doing the same task I usually do with my phones.

What is your usage on? Well battery life differs for users. I usually gets about 7hrs sot on my usage.

Totally agree on this. Nothing much to say on this matter and I am just enjoying my phone without any issues My last run was more than 12 days before I did a restart.

I never ever install any china made app and all my apps is genuine.

From nearly all report here, the hang is when using Google Chrome and I do face one or two times hang when using Google Chrome browse certain site, no others apps causing the hang yet.

In this case, Google Chrome seems doesn't fully optimise yet for Android Mashmallow

I think better not to have Google Chrome in the phone.

Maybe, I not really sure as my previous phone all under Jelly Bean. Actually Google Chrome often got issue from time to time but I still use it because I want the auto sync bookmark everywhere. Oops.

Maybe is Google Chrome issue, maybe is Samsung, I had no idea. Haha!

It is not the matter how many tabs you open, it is the matter on the site you browsing, I think it mostly cause by bad coding of those advertisement on certain website.

hi i wanted to ask for those who successfully modded their hybrid slot,is it abit tight when inserting the tray?i did mod mine and its very tight tbh when inserting.will it effect the sd card or the modded sim in long run?
