I face 3 times already this 'hang' problem. U need to do hard reset (power + volume down button). As i know this 'problem' is protection system for Samsung phone for the mobo, protect from overheat n damage ur phone. There is some combination hard reset n some combination will reset ur phone to factory default  . Lucky i google first before doing hard reset..

Guys, while surfing for lowyat just now my phone just hang for 5 seconds and switched off. I couldn't switch it on now despite I've tried home + power button. What can I do?

It's not the first time it hang and switch off but it's the first time I unable to switch it on back. Don't wanna spend on sunday in Samsung Service centre.

Yes, using Chrome. Thanks, my combo were wrong, now I know it is volume down + power button
Yeah and thanks, I can't accept it to hang by just normal browsing with just 2 tabs in Chrome.

This happen when I'm using Chrome Beta. I started Chrome Beta just few days ago.

Finally decided to buy S7 Edge.

SOT is low... not as what i expected.

Average use such as fb, light gaming COC, browsing the web, whatsapp, telegram, email....

Thoughr I could get SOT 6hours or 7

I really don't understand, how you all manage to make a well made phone hang or crash? Mine happened restart it itself and can't power on because I put it in a box with a case. It was too tight, and the box press the case power button and volume place and the phone keep turn and on itself till I open the box again after couple hours. The phone then self restart again then can't power on for 1 minutes. I Google it, found out that Samsung made this to protect the motherboard. I guess the phone resort too many time and when I take it out it was very very very hot. My bad. But till now I didn't even face any hang/crash. Maybe it is because of the not well optimise app cause that problem.  Keep your eye open and alert on those crappy app. Especially those China made app.

Guys, whats the highest power consumption portion of ur phone. Mine's the screen which sucks up 40% on average. Its kinda weird isnt it? Since im always doing something like browse chrome in 4G, games etc.

I feel weird cos my previous phones were always something else that sucks the most power.

First time on amoled here but shouldnt it use less power? Also switched to basic mode along with using dark wallpaper etc.

I've been getting issues on my mobile data switching off every now and then, and only a restart could fix it. what's going on? is it a sim problem ?

I got the device from zero lution and my new number, so it's a new sim card all in all my data switched off, even my radio, so cannot call.. it just says unknown number and emergency call.. restart works, airplane mode also works to fix this issue but it gets annoying D:

There's a way to automate that.

I configured Tasker to mute the phone when the camera app is launched.

I just disabled those identify as bloatwares. TBH I don't feel any difference in battery saving.

Do any of you use the microsoft apps or is it worth disabling and using another app?
