Use Good Lock by Samsung. You 3rd party lock and fingerprint will work again.

There are quite a numbers of good lock in Play stores. may i know which one is it?

The adblocker are more for blocking the ads from browser and this doesn't apply to other apps such as Zedge, wallpaper downloader and etc.

the only real ad blocker for non root is adguard. fullstop.
hint: use luckypatcher custom patch for adguard (not dowan support dev but cant afford subscription. im ok with one off paid app)

only adguard has adv features (https,black/whitelisting, etc) others are crap.

adblocker plugin for samsung browser is another lame plugin. crystal is clone (forked) of Adblock Plus.

adguard will handle ur ads nightmare.

good lock is a nice approach but not for daily usage for TouchWiz based fw. not yet. maybe when android N released, samsung will make TW lighter and more closer to vanilla android.

I also try and it do block the entire Zedge and also that key icon at status bar is much more annoying to me. Uninstall. Haha!

Yes VPN. other some OEM doesnt have permanent ongoing notification for network monitoring status.
we can disable adguard notification itself to avoid duplicate status. just need disable batt optimization for it.

Just try the Good Lock. It is nice but too bad I think it not fully support dual sim. My signal bar always empty. Uninstall for now.

latest build support dual sim. working fine just it doesnt match current TW fw on S7e.
get from sammobile or xda for latest build.

I tried it as well last week, same problem still persist. No signal at all.

Its something new for samsung. The revamp UI is unique. is about time samsung ditch Touchwiz?

u need good lock v24.0.6 or greater. that the last version i personally tested all working good & uninstalled

Ejecting sim tray and re-inserting solved the no signal glitch for good lock for me

I install v24.0.7 from apk mirror but no signal I try download at XDA see how.

To be honest, TW is pretty good now, fast n smooth. Just lack options and functions to further customize your home screen. Come on gimme icon editing Samsung. We know it can be done cos we did it with root before.

Goodlock is just the systemui and lock screen so don't think it will be replacing TW. Maybe just an additional app for it. The drop down notification UI actually just look like stock android. Nothing really special for me cos i see it all the time on my oneplus one previously.

Also even using the latest version of good lock the signal status will go blank suka-suka so i also uninstalled oledi. LOL

Tried that but didn't work. Which version are you using?

The service is working just not showing the bar. Unless there are other solution for the 3rd party lock with fingerprint i have to use it. I need the greenify lock + hibernate function.
