Seriously, am i the only one who thinks htc 10 either front or back is ugly? The whole design looks somewhat messy and unorganized. The front between the screen and buttons bezel are making it looks weird and the back chamfered edges urgh disgusting. Not to mention the audio jack top on the phone. If u look closely it is not well built at all.

I still think sticking with s7 edge is the best choice atm.
No offense to htc fans. This is all just my personal opinion. I had high hopes on htc since m8 really..

On side note, already updated my s7 edge n testing out the software update. Will update u guys soon

One thing's for sure. It'll sure be a lot easier to get glass protector for the screen.

Damn I hate the curve screen.

Pretty damn right.

Even now im using my s7 edge without screen protector. It looks good and feels good but freaking insecure at times.
Curved screen looks sexy but slowly growing annoying on me.. no complains though. Love this device a lot still.

If most people has your opinion,  HTC "tentu habis-lah" this time!
Most people thinks and speaks highly of the design
Personally I think is quite a nice design too
I am never a HTC fan and my last 2 HTC phones were unimpressive ( HTC One M7 and HTC One Max)
*
One thing definite i wouldnt know till i held htc 10 device myself on my own hands.

Tbh for a flagships i feel like all these small details for example placement on audio jack and capacitive buttons has to be placed nicely and accurately. Not looking like some toy. The bezel between screen and capacitive button are awful. If its being place properly it wouldnt be that bad despite the large bezel.

Maybe just for now, hopefully the design will grow on me.

I'm just curious regarding the VR, what are the most comfortable controller should we use with the VR? Bluetooth remote controller, gamepad controller or wireless mouse (heck, is wireless mouse compatible)? If so, can anyone recommend?

Gonna make a purchase on VR Box Gen 2. Not sure to get headset alot or together with the accesories

I'm from the iPhone 6 plus and I really miss it's standby time. My s7 Edge can drop 6% overnight. And that's about 7 hours of me being asleep. I didn't have to worry about my iPhone having WiFi on or location on or what not. Android oh Android.
*
I'm exactly on the same ship as you. sad.gif
When I was on iphone 6 plus i basically left everything open from wifi to 4g and even location, the battery barely drops. Now switching on wifi at night will drain my battery roughly 40-50% of my battery overnight (which is horrendous compare to you if I have to say). I suspect the fb,whatsapp, messenger app wakelock is causing all the draining. I never factory reset since I had my device.

but hey, i love the fact that my s7 edge keeps my background app running and every other thing about this device literally. So I practically don't really care about my battery life and just use it the way I like it. Don't worry about the 6% drain overnight and this phone charges so much faster.

Anyway, I guess there is this thing called pros and cons. tongue.gif

//Edit: speaking of factory reset, I need to backup my data + apps. Any one can recommend a good app for that purpose? For non-root device.

40-50% overnight is kinda abnormal IMO
mine roughly will drain about 5-6% on a 5hours sleep
*
True. Just wanna ask, did you deleted insta,fb and etc that is preinstalled in the phone?

Backup via Samsung Smart Switch for PC, make sure your PC have enough HDD space minimum of 5gb.
I have done that

Going to try this. Thanks! icon_rolleyes.gif

Maybe I'll sell this when the new nexus comes out. Never used a pure Android phone before. Should be much better without all this Samsung uneccessaries.
*
Actually, I was planning on the same thing but i'm afraid that nexus screen can't be compared to samsung although nexus amoled panel is produced by samsung. The calibration on samsung is on different level in my opinion. I've become really particular when it comes to screen after jumping ship from ip6+ to s7e. Hopefully this year nexus doesn't disappoint and also hope i've grown tired of the curved screen by then. And damn, I'm quite similar to you.. never tried using vanilla android before.

Just try the Good Lock. It is nice but too bad I think it not fully support dual sim. My signal bar always empty. Uninstall for now.

*
I tried it as well last week, same problem still persist. No signal at all.

Its something new for samsung. The revamp UI is unique. is about time samsung ditch Touchwiz?

speaking of VR, ordered one VR Shinecon instead of VR BOX Gen 2.
if its good, might opt for better VR like huawei, htc, sony. not neccessarily going to get samsung VR i think.

will arrive within 3 days. hehe. can't wait to test (u know what im thinking).. brows.gif
