The service is working just not showing the bar.  Unless there are other solution for the 3rd party lock with fingerprint i have to use it.  I need the greenify lock + hibernate function.

Why some of you still wish to use greenify in this phone. Marshmallow had doze built in and works beautifully when phone is idle. I had stop using this app on all my MM phones such as my others Nexus 6p, Mate8 n LGV10

Oh i forgot. I saw some non hibernate apps in greenify which doesn't get hibernated unless i manually do it. Even i leave for days. So i think mm doze not dozing it or not entirely.

Its hard to say. When you turn on the screen the app might have been waken up to its original state from doze. So greenify might show it as active again.

With phone overnight 7-8 hours my battery drain was only 2%. I only has 3g switched on with Bluetooth, NFC, GPS n sync turn off. I don't use the display on feature at all. That is more than good enough for me showing doze is indeed working well.

Saw someone mentioned that doze uses gyro to detect the phone is lying on flat to doze. So it might not work if in pocket. Not sure how true.

Btw without root u cannot have automatic hibernation unless u use insecure lockscreen. Otherwise need to manually greenify.

the only real ad blocker for non root is adguard. fullstop.
hint: use luckypatcher custom patch for adguard (not dowan support dev but cant afford subscription. im ok with one off paid app)

only adguard has adv features (https,black/whitelisting, etc) others are crap.

adblocker plugin for samsung browser is another lame plugin. crystal is clone (forked) of Adblock Plus.

adguard will handle ur ads nightmare.
*
do you know how long is the trial perios for adguard?

Yes that's why we're on the same boat needing that lock and hibernate function.

Will try to uninstall greenify and measure the sot.

tried using greenify for 24 hours. the app literally does nothing as you have to manual hibernate the apps.

and it doesn't really make a difference to my battery life. uninstalled
