There are certain voice enable modem available. So you can still receive calls when you use your sim in that modem.
But as stated previously, most of us just subscribe the data plan and disable the voice package.

No wonder, who is a Kuching girl only uses Maxis broadband, though one of the reasons is her sis works in Maxis and they get free broadband I heard. biggrin.gif

Good for me as well, I can surf my net peacefully when I visit her in Kuching soon. biggrin.gif

So far everything is good on this Maxis package, no complaint unless the speed slows down, sometimes which is still acceptable. Most of the time, it flies charmingly. biggrin.gif

for voice+data in one multisim?
no way man, better not try asking , as they might limit your data usage and thereby "killing" us altogether biggrin.gif

hi

i need to know more details on YOUTH PLAN package.
i'm not a maxis user so i need to buy youth plan starter kit for RM8.80 and i get 100MB data
grace period expiry after 3 months

i'm a light internet user so prepaid is suitable for me.
i have 2 hp... 1 for call/sms & 1 for internet only (since diff service provider + plan)

questions :-
a) can i use 100MB for 3 months?
b) after 3 months, can i buy new youth plan starter kit?

i don't care about airtime, call or sms which are coming together with the hot tickets.
i just only want to pay RM8.80 for 100MB data for 3 months. is it possible ?

tq....
