Any significant update to iOS 10? I read somewhere we can delete the apps we don't use from the home screen?
*
Most built-in iOS apps could be removed from the home screen in iOS 10. However, Apple revealed that you're only removing the apps' icons; the app itself is still loaded on the phone, in memory.

Assistive touch got the round thing in your screen I find it make the phone ugly. Where u put the round thing?
*
Totally agree with you. The assistive touch feature is like a floating black icon which just compromise the aesthetic of the UI. Primary reason as to why they see using it is so that they can lower the chances of spoiling the physical home button.

They use a beautiful name, called "removed" but in fact, in Android, we called it "Disabled" to be exact.

my primary reason for using it is not to save the Home button but to easily mute the phone without picking the physical mute toggle on the left with my fingernail. and the mute and unmute text is helpful. i also use it to shake the phone instead of stupidly shake the phone to undo. i also use the triple click to quickly invert the screen to black for night reading. also use the multitasking without jamming the Home button twice everytime. In fact, if you are really paranoid over saving your Home button, you can turn Hey Siri on to unlock phone without pressing the Home button at all. if you also add volume up/down and Lock screen features, you can practically press not a single button on your iPhone to operate it!

Hi guys,

Currently I'm using 5c 16GB and thinking to 'upgrade' to SE, only the 16GB model suit my budget since I only have 2k.

May I know is there anyone here using the SE 16GB model? So far the small storage suit your usage?

My phone usage can be consider minimal as I only use my phone to call, Whatsapp (quite a lot media), take photo (not always), music (apple music).

Anyone can advise because I don't want to feel 'I should've gotten the 64GB version' after I bought it.

For me, I expect my phone can last me 3 years.

Thanks guys smile.gif

I'm currently testing this SE 16gb as my daily driver for few days. Load everything I normal use like on my G4's, no problem, still got like 8gb left for music and pictures. Might be good to go as daily driver. And I'm selling it cheap too. Done my testing for now I guess. If no buyer I will just use it.

Nobody, technically possible but not practical (slow - you need to say Hey Siri then press the Assistive Touch Home button then place your finger to touch the real Home button to unlock.

If you're using 3 years I'd strongly suggest u go for 64, media and apps are getting bigger and bigger in size, better save move a few hundred more than regret later, do watch out for gem five offers as they have promotions from time to time

Even for a light user like myself, I find 16GB is too little. Nowadays, I believe smartphones should be equipped with 32GB of internal storage at least. You may find 16GB is sufficient on the day you bought it but as you add songs, photos and apps, 16GB ain't gonna be enough.

That's what I scare since I only change phone every 3 years since most of the recent iPhone can handle 3 generations of iOS. Gem5 promotion is attractive but too bad they don't have Rose Gold or Spay Grey in stock, my first priority is Rose Gold. 64GB after discount only 20XX drool.gif

Agree with you but I still okay with 16GB as now my phone left around 1GB+-, but who knows? The file is getting bigger and bigger.

For song I using Apple Music so no storage issue for me, Facebook is the worst storage hogger, I have to delete FB completely once a week.

Might consider getting the 64GB since everyone recommends it and I found it's true 16GB soon to be insufficient even for light usage.

Good morning. FOr personal expense tracker, I use 'Spending Tracker'. Simple interface, and small size. I can't help you on the you tube downloader app.
