QUOTE(darrenboy @ May 28 2016, 12:03 AM) I got mine from 11street (imported). But when I try to use my SIM card from my current iphone 4 for the iPhone SE, the SIM card doesn't fit in. The iPhone SE size seems smaller. How come? Do I need to change it with telco? My telco is maxis. I phone 4 uses micro sim, iphone se uses nano sim. Just go to any maxis branch, they will issue you with a replacement of the correct size for your phone. |

QUOTE(darrenboy @ May 29 2016, 10:00 PM) I went to one maxis reseller shop and was told they will charge RM10 for the replacement nano SIM card. I just want to check with you guys whether this is correct? Well, at least you do get a new sim card. For RM10 bucks and its a one-off gig. They even charge it through the bill. Its free when you apply for a new line/package though. |

QUOTE(torreto @ May 29 2016, 07:31 PM) SE 64GB gold reporting in ! Got it for RM2380 😌. So far so good. Liking the 2GB ram. AFAIK, were current is concern, it depends on the hp. Even if the charger can supply @5Amps, it only taks what it needs. Most important is the voltage, the intended charger needs to be the same voltage. Often I charge my 5S, 4, 6p with the iPad charger as it can supply higher Amps, and it does charge faster. And my ip 4 still gives respectable usage duration although the original battery. One question. Does the SE charge faster with the iPad charger like 6 & 6s ? |

QUOTE(darrenboy @ Jun 1 2016, 09:45 PM) ok, now I got my nano sim card. Now I wonder how to transfer my data and apps into my SE. Use iTunes, backup your old phone, then backup to new phone.1. Are my phone contacts, whatapps data, games data, apps data, etc all inside my previous SIM? or is it inside my previous iphone 4? 2. Do I need to re-download every apps and games again in my iphone SE? It would be terrible having to key in one by one all of my phone contacts again and apps data again. Nightmare! 3. If it is inside my previous Sim, how do I transfer those data into my new Sim card? Please advise. |

QUOTE(darrenboy @ Jun 2 2016, 07:49 AM) I understand that iClouds only backup a few key data, am I right? Whereas iTunes backup everything and I don't have to re-download a single Apps again (with all the Apps data intact) on my new phone? Either way does not matter, what matters is that the apple id is the same for both old and new unit. Now the question is, do I need to activate my new Sim card before or after I restore the iTunes backup on my new phone? Do a backup 1st of your old unit. Then restore the backup in your new iPhone. New iphone must be having same apple id. see here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766 |

QUOTE(darrenboy @ Jun 2 2016, 05:42 PM) Thanks for your reply. I called the Apple toll free no. and was informed that I needed to download whatever Apps first into my new phone..so that whatever Apps or games I have in old unit, I also hv it in the new phone. Then after that, only synchronize from the iTunes restore backup ( which contains the data from old phone). She said this should work. The problem with this approach is I am not sure if all my previously purchased Apps inside my current Apps Store - how do I know of all of them will be transferred to the new phone? This is critical because of my Apps are no longer available to be downloaded or no longer free. What ur describing is the syncing method. Plug in the old phone to iTunes. In settings, ensure that itunes copies all the apps on ur old phone. Then connect the new phone. As it will be using same ID, in iTunes u can manually copy and past and sync and/or auto sync to your new phone. Whatever is not in the new phone will be copied to it and vice versa. Those apps which u have bought for free and now is not free, you can download it through the apple ID account page. There should be a downlod apps section, it will list all the apps there with links to download. |

QUOTE(inkyoctopuss @ Jun 5 2016, 09:48 AM) Well is kinda true because it takes me some time for getting used to the screen size anyway need to ask about App Store, why is the currency is US ($) although I already choose the country/region in malaysia Yup all in USD whichever region you are in. However depending on your apple ID, different regions have different apps, most are the same though. I myself have US apple ID, so get all apps available, not so in Malaysia, some apps are not downloadable. It should become 'RM' rights? Best is to register a US ID using the 'Free' method without giving CC. Then have all the option available. |

QUOTE(Kilohertz @ Jun 7 2016, 08:41 AM) The best iphone retina screen IMHO is still the ip4 and ip4s. After those models all got yellow tint. ip5,ip5s,6,6+ and 6s all got the yellow hue somewhat. Can really see it when it is put next to each other. |

QUOTE(lionn @ Jun 7 2016, 11:46 AM) Mine is about 3 weeks now. The yellowish still not gone. I did complain one time loong time ago regarding the yellow hue on the retina display. That time was at KLCC. Infact all the phones are like that after ip4s. If overall dispay got yellow not so much issue, its just some units do have defects at the corners i.e., the corners have like shadow.. Can test with one colour background. this one is real issue, apple will replace no problem. If yellow screen, i think its more product already like that... |

QUOTE(lionn @ Jun 7 2016, 03:25 PM) Yeah. It's not the whole screen is yellow. Only some part of it it's yellow. But thinking of need to wait 14 days to get it replace, makes me lazy pulak. In my case, I do get upset when I see my old ip4 which I gave to my son. As his screen is sooo nice and clear, whereas my ip6+ not so nice (colour rendering). Then again, this is nothing that serious and one can live with it... |

QUOTE(dino89 @ Jun 20 2016, 08:48 AM) 16Gb only means that you need to sync more frequently than higher storage iPhones. As for apps, only fps takes alot of memory. Other than that, they are all smaller sized. Congrats on the new phone. |

QUOTE(degraw1993 @ Jun 23 2016, 02:37 AM) Guys really need your opinion here, right now im kind of dilemma which one should i choose. Either SE or the second hand 6S. SE price are about 2300-2500 while the second hand 6S are about 2800-3000. It depends on what is your usage. If you want a hp then SE would be ideal. If you need to surf, games etc, 6S fare better. If you have the budget, IMHO 6S is the way to go, if need bigger screen 6S+ loh....I do play games on phone but sometimes. Any opinion would be appreciated thanks |

Ip4 and Ip4S has the best retina deisplay IMHO..... no hint of yellow at all. Brightness, colour etc. If put side by side, can really see the difference.

QUOTE(lionn @ Jul 21 2016, 08:53 PM) The counter girl told me that she can't promise that the replacement set wont have the issue. Is the sales person representing Apple? Probably its a bad batch, if it was me, I would get the product replaced until I am satisfied. This is an Apple product not just a lame brand manufacured ina back yard.So I am really lazy to get it replace again for the same thing. |

QUOTE(cychua85 @ Jul 22 2016, 01:38 AM) I think I might go after SE . Best bucks saVing for SE is machine still? Or online retail? Make No different right? Online depends where you purchase. For me, most important is Malaysian set then, less worry on warranty. Online, got so many sources, dont know where those units come from, underwater also have. Best keep it local set, much less headache and heartache. Waitlah 1 or 2 months, no need to kelam kabut, sure restock one. I also looking for a one but can waitlah.. QUOTE(Isaac599 @ Jul 22 2016, 04:00 PM) Frankly, android phone for experience user is worth having. Apple is user friendly. Compare functionality, android platform I think is superior than apple so very good for experience users. For normal users like myself that just want a reliable handphone, then it is ideal. I first started with the ip4. No longer hangs, no more issues with viruses, straight forward interface and easy to navigate. Everything is done through iTunes. Of course, for Apple, apps are sometimes not cheap and also noway to use crack apps. So in a nutshell, stress free user experience. There are pros and cons but for me, the IOS is for me. |
