Chears Hartamas folks lost the support of the mass since TNB link the completion of transmission line with MRT and Langat 2, both federal and state government can't afford to delay it. I would say CH folks sure lose.

Time is the essence now, alternate road need another round of approval & evaluation, no way..

anyone can recommend any good and reliable contractor? Want to reno my home and finish b4 CNY next year so can move in smile.gif

Need to do some wet works like extend kitchen, change tiles etc

Found the stand of Selangor State Government, this is crystal clear the last hope of Cheras Hartamas resident is gone with the wind:

"...it is the state’s concern that any delay will cause interference to the Langat 2 Water Treatment Plant project and the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang line which will have an impact on the larger community of public transport and water users in the state.

"The Menteri Besar of Selangor has heard the concerns of the campaigners and assures the residents that the relevant authorities will ensure that the construction of the power transmission pylons complies to safety rules and regulations.

"We urge TNB to resolve the issue with the campaigners in an amicable manner – including facilitating access to the latest scientific information regarding their concerns – and for the residents to give full cooperation for the collective benefit of the state," MB's office strategic communications director Yin Shao Loong said.

Very funny, State Assemblywoman Tiew Way Keng from DAP still lobby for Selangor State Government support, she should have know it or just another sandiwara politik?

Anyway, with the installation of transmission line, MRT & Langat 2 should not be delayed and it bring benefit to the greater public.

i think probably u need to check in the renovation forum. i am also looking for a contractor now. doing almost something similar like yours. and just got to know that in Kajang area, it's quite difficult to get the approval especially if you are planning to add 1 more floor to your existing property. no wonder i have never seen this is done in sg long area.

yea, probably. but i am losing the interest to renovate the house already as i am not adding additional square foot to the property which means i am going to spend the reno with no value added to the existing property at all.

Whatever we spent on Reno
I think only add 30% of Reno cost to ur selling price

Why don't you consider 3 storey super link of Taming Indah 2 just opposite SL4, based on banner still got developer's unit. 22x88 4k square feet build up.

Your kids still can attend same kindergarten while your in law still can in contact with their old friends, gain build up, new house, save SPA legal fees etc...

thumbsup.gif will check it out. just personally don really like their layout there. it does feel a bit narrow when i visited the show unit some time back.

Every rooms are master bedroom upstair ..
Myself I preferred living hall bigger and don't like L shaped staircase which make the living become narrow
