If 1000ft , cheras vista 4/5 may affected
*
There are different opinion some said 1,320 feet (350 meters) is the prudent distance
http://www.emfinfo.org/guidelines-distance.html

But some said no need only 25 meters as per Australian legal requirement
https://www.sa.gov.au/topics/water-energy-a...near-powerlines

If distance of 25 meters is what the minimum legal requirement, Cheras Hartamas residents has no case.

Cheras Vista shouldn't be affected in my opinion.

Yup to be fair I won't invest residential area near by HTC let alone live there, nonetheless if TNB has met the minimum legal requirement Cheras Hartamas has no case.

It seem that Malaysia only require 20m from the centre of powerline as minimum requirement compare with 25m distance requirement in Australia. Almost no magnetic field effect after 20m as per photo below.

Seems like Connaught area is now "closed" along the pasar malam road. Presumably for the same reasons (working on those pylons)?

Court injunction also obtained by TNB, really no case for Cheras Haratams already..

The transmission line is critical to ensure supply to Langat 2 Raw Water Treatment Plant that will benefit more than 5 million people in The Klang Valley and Selangor; the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang project which will cater for approximately 400,000 daily commuters; and to reinforce electricity supply within Mahkota Cheras and its surrounding area.
