I haven't start study about air miles and this revision coming real soon.

now I need to rethink about my plan and bring ahead the study of air miles and convert all my points before 1 June.

any recommendation article/blog/website where I can get a good start understanding/explore for Enrich / AsiaMiles / KF? cry.gif

there are 1000 cards in the "3515" series....the last 4 digits, the first 3 is the card number, and the last digit is a "random" check sum number....thus 1000 cards from 3515 000X to 3515 999X......... biggrin.gif

Just out of curiosity, does the bank really follow the numerical sequence when they issue the credit cards? eg: no jumping the card number here and there?

Would be interesting to see how long does it take to "exhaust" 3515 xxxx and proceed to 3516 xxxx haha.

Am isn't much use to me as my destination is mostly down under or Europe....em business redemption is really useless nowadays (although y redemption is still not too bad).....so looks like no choice has to be kf.....

Why AM no good for Europe?

generally, you need to retrace to hk and connect using cx....if you redeem oneworld, you can start from kul with mh, ba or qr, but while the miles needed is lower, the cash upfront is higher.....

in a one stop strategy, i will always prefer sq with a changi/spore "free" stopover holiday.....lol

Oh... if we know the exact miles and also the top up cash difference... can see whether worth it or not..if the mile difference is 45k and we assign value of RM0.08 per mile, then unless we need to top up more than RM3,600 then could be better to go with AM... of course , this is rough estimate and different people assign diff values

now I am confuse.

if any good-hearted person here can enlighten me and point to towards the right direction to save some time for my study:

got three big airline alliances : oneworld alliance, Star Alliance, SkyTeam.

how does KrisFryer, Enrich, Asia Miles link with those alliance?

Thanks. sweat.gif

Enrich is the FFP of malaysia airline, malaysia airline is a member of one world

Krisflyer is the ffp of Singapore air, Singapore air is a member of star alliance

Asia miles is the ffp of Cathay Pacific, Cathay Pacific is a member of one world

thank you for this more direct direction, now it clear out some of my confusion.

my further question, can I use Krisflyer to redeem anyone of the star alliance airline ticket and Asia Miles/Enrich to redeem anyone of the oneworld alliance airline ticket?

Generally yes but answer isn't that straight forward.
Some airlines will have different clauses and of course different miles required.
I will suggest you aim for their own redemption (kf redeem sia, am redeem Cathay), after getting familiar only look into partner airlines.
