No change to KF.

The calculation is based on when you start using your card, not the anniversary...I got the card in February, but anniversary date is September.....based on the rule, the double miles is based on spending from 1 March 19 to 28 February 20....

KF is affected where it will also needs 5000 TP to redeem post 1 Jun

The panic is when it's was not clear whether KF is excluded from miles redemption, leaving only Enrich

Really? It is a bit weird that they specifically singled out EM when they also have KF and AM... The CS confirmed with you that all types of Miles will be devalued to 5000 TP?

Yes 2 months after anni, af should be waived if you are getting bonus (since min bonus is spending 60k)

Just called CS. the 5000 TP is for all EM/AM/KF. Still can transfer to AM and KF. MBB will be updating the info soon.

As for KF AMEX, all spending up to 1 June will be calculated for double points bonus. But from 1 June util/gov will be excluded. ie if your anniversary date is 30 June, and you have only spend 50k up to 1 June, you will need to spend another 10k to get the bonus but this 10K must not include util/gov. Util/gov spend prior to 1 June will be accepted.

But as always, got to wait the official black and white.

If I had known they will change, I wouldn't even have bothered to apply for the kf amex.....

That is a definite. I've redeemed 1,161,000 TP to KF before this. Still left 67,000 TP now. Will redeem before 30 May

They will have to change all their highway/mall ad, RM0.90=1 airmiles to RM1=1 miles

Actually, the devaluation isn't much.....about 10%.....but for those of us who already intend to convert, then it's obvious better do it now, and avoid losing 10% of miles.....

At 5000, it's still a pretty competitive airmiles card compared to other banks.....

But I have 4 mil TP, and not sure what ratio to KF / AM.....headache....with devaluation, if don't convert, that's like lost of 400k TP.

As I said , the devaluation is minimal, the real hit is the change for krisflyer Amex

Am isn't much use to me as my destination is mostly down under or Europe....em business redemption is really useless nowadays (although y redemption is still not too bad).....so looks like no choice has to be kf.....
