The real question is this - does anyone still spend a significant amount on the MBB cards? Or just to meet the minimum spending?

I am still charging almost all my expenses to MBB cards .... except for eWallet. There's no other great cards out there I guess

Same here. Maintaining this Primier 2 and also Amex plat charge card. If got big dining or overseas trip then use my UOB VI. Until something comes along …IF…. Hahah

Initially I was thinking of applying the AMEX Plat Charge Card too ..... unfortunately, my spending amount doesn't justify for the benefits this card has to offer.

I find the World Elite Mastercard is a great card. Can bring guest into lounge utilizing the 12 free access yearly. Made of metal too

It wouldn't be as bad if Amex is accepted everywhere like Visa/MC... but considering how limited the usage is with merchants, it isn't really worth it..

Btw, Maybank KF Plat supp cardholders can also access PPL lounge.

Although it was stated M2R(VI) only allows PPL access to Principal cardholder, my supp cardholders were able to access PPL access in China few years ago. Not sure what happened there, they definitely weren't charged.

nowadays quite a lot of places accepts amex .. esp grocery shoping and restaurants. not too bad

Use Shopee SPay Later as a complement to Amex. For any merchants that doesn't accept Amex, just scan qr and pay with spay later then settle the lumpsum amount with Amex. That way basically can cover most of the expenses already.

SPay Later QR is paying directly from the credit card? Not from Shopee Ewallet right?
