anyone tried to redeem Krisflyer for EVA air?
Is it possible to redeem KUL ->TPE -> HND. I can't seem to search this flight.

Or I have to transfer my miles to EVA miles for it to work.

hi sifus, since the change in the TP earning mechanism, its safe to say amex is pointless now. is it possible if i just terminate my amex, and keep my VI? or it must be tied together? i rmb when i was using platinum, that is possible..

otherwise, thinking to terminate both (after utilizing TP), and move over to world elite MC, for the 1+1 lounge benefit.. what say you all?

Earlier only Balance Transfer came back in Sept, looks like they added this promo this month.

I've cancelled by M2P and applied for MU VI instead.
Using M2C Amex for 5x points on weekday and MU VI on weekend once max out the RM50 for M2C Amex.

M2C Amex 5x is still good in my opinion (not for miles but for treat fair points to $$$).

If go to Maybank card centre and if you already having a higher tier level card and want to add same level or lower tier. Otherwise still need to submit income documents.

If you know your banker or RM, just call, No need to visit, fill in forms or resubmit anything. That's what I did.

Does anyone recall how MBB's annual fee "free first year" work for existing card members who apply for a new card?

For example, if my expiry (also AF) date for existing cards is in June and I apply for a new card in Oct 2024, is the first year waiver from October 2024 - May 2025, and I gotta hit the spending requirement from June 2025 to May 2026 otherwise fee charged in early June 2026?

Sept 22~ Sept 23 spend > rm80k i tot no need pay annual fee, but mar 24 statement ask me pay rm800 annual fee.

Called CS, they feedback Mar 23 ~ Mar 24 spend rm80k only entitle to waive annual fee. Appealed to waive annual fee but fail, then cancelled both card, but still need pay annual fee

Yes. Cut off is 27th of the month.
So it is June 1st to 2025 to May 26th 2026. AF will be charged on May 27th 2026.
