Guys wanna check for MUVI, the 10k points upon activation is for new to bank applicants, or everyone also can get?

I used my MUVI, however did not receive the extra points. Only got for the amt i spent

just called in CS to confirm... for amex, need wait for bill cycle.. for VI, will get within 1-2 days of activation, somehow the CS mentioned for VI its automated, but for amex its manually credited by marketing team...

normally from my experience with MBB's VS, it will be charged on your anniversary month (refer to your card expiry month), it will normally be last 2-3 days before the statement date.

if you want to cancel your card and choose not to pay the AF, you cannot make any swipes after the AF has been charged.. if you made any swipes after that, you are obliged to pay the AF

The extra months (when u got ur car until 1st anniversary month) will be free..

Example u got in march, ur anni month is june, then march-june will be free to use period... june 2019-june 2020 will be the official first year for you... end of june 2020 they will bill you the AF should you not meet the spending requirement

I thought if anniversary is May, the AF should be billed by end of April? How come yours come out in June statement.. and for SST, it might take 1 or 2 months for them to charge u. I have mbb cards that’s charged SST 2 months later

Btw, anniversary month is normally following the expiry month shown on your card

IMO, credit limit depends on alot of factor as well.. the most fundamental is definitely your income, in this case 120k/annum, which just barely pass the minimum amount required to obtain the card, therefore definitely the bank will not allocate much credit limit for you

alternatively, if you want additional credit limit, you can always pledge FD to increase your CL, or you can "pay in advanced" to extend your CL should you need use large amount for upcoming transactions.. i am definitely not that well versed in this, however i believe spending behavior, repayment on time, etc. etc. will factor in your increase in CL, should you request for it to be increased in the coming years

my CL is now almost 5x of my monthly income, when i first started off with maybank years back, it was 2x as well of my monthly income

hi sifus, since the change in the TP earning mechanism, its safe to say amex is pointless now. is it possible if i just terminate my amex, and keep my VI? or it must be tied together? i rmb when i was using platinum, that is possible..

otherwise, thinking to terminate both (after utilizing TP), and move over to world elite MC, for the 1+1 lounge benefit.. what say you all?

anyone have any experience for MAS, if i were to purchase a economy ticket (codeshare with Qatar), can i use my enrich to upgrade to biz? apparently codesharing i cant use enrich, not sure bout upgrade tho
