A little bit of course, which it is being offered based on our current usage. They offer whatever that is nearest to our average usage per month, which make sense, why would they offer you something cheaper than what you are already paying?

Besides their highr charges on plans, Maxis has the best coverage and customer service so far I've seen, Digi being the worst for me.

Yalo, so thats why now in process of porting out. Going to "test water" with Digi and see whether their line is acceptable in my area. If Maxis "Loyalty Team" does not counter offer with a better plan and I find that Digi has acceptable signal/data in my area, I will port all my numbers to Digi

RM98 definitely not going to work. I belive my previous wishful packages are way better.  Personally to me it isn't only about more data, it is also about saving RM

I am still go for

RM48 for 3gb (they can kick out the surfmore and maxisgo with this)
RM68 for 5gb (can compete with celcom gold with RM12.70 saving after GST)
RM88 for 7gb (just for those who requires more data but do not want to punch a hole / holes in their pocket)

Ooh and everything with unlimited calls and sms of course, but to kesian maxis a bit probably the RM48 with limited to 500 minutes calls/sms.  i can hardly finish 10 sms with my celcom 38!!

I went to Maxis centre to check my account, (not port out) but they did tell me I got offered with RM78 package with 5GB data and unlimited calls & sms. I even receive the sms as well when register for the que. So about this loyalty program thing, can I assume they did have promotion for their loyal customer just that we have to find it out on our own like giving them a call or visiting their maxis centre?

Btw I did not take that plan as I don't plan to spend more than 50 a month.

just asking, if once i click YES agree to port out, still have any chance for them to call me offer the rm68gb + 7gb + unlimited call & sms plan?~      

today i just port in to digi, maxis they also call me for the plan 88 8GB But i request for rm68 7GB but he say east malaysia only.i think this is cheating ppl only. how come east malaysia can do but west malaysia cannot?cant believe it.

Perhaps they might just add another 2GB of data to their existing plans.

I'm hotlink loyal customer for almost 10 years. Do I eligible getting RM68 for 5GB data + unlimited call & SMS + no contract? I'm thinking to change to postpaid.

I maybe pissed, but not lossing my wits. That's why I'm sharing this detail so that others wouldn't continue to fall for Maxis Shallow , 3rd Class marketing tactics. And Yes, I already opted the said package.

Update: They gave me 3 GB free data since they failed to switch on my new plan on time as an apology.

question now is, when will maxis officially announce the rumoured new plan??  They should start ASAP for at least some damage control if not totally fix it.

Previously I said they offer me 7GB for RM88 and unlimited call (another free 1GB for 6 months)

Today I feel quite angry as one of the cs scold my good friend as my friend try to get some offer. So just now I rang them a call, I tell them you give me 7GB only but some customer get 10GB for RM88.

Immediately they pass my line to higher level. After conversation, my offer will be

RM88 for 15GB Data plus free 1GB for next 6 months and another free 1GB for next 1 year.

Which means for next 6 months I will get 17GB, after 6 months I get 16GB, after 1 year I will get 15GB. I think this is the best offer I get so far

I call up Maxis and you know what, they told me I can upgrade from RM158(5GB) currently to 15GB but pay RM 188 per month, what the Fxxx, I am asking them why I pay RM 158 still getting the bloody 5GB but others all got higher quota, this is what they gave me, I ask can you give 10GB for my RM 158 that I am paying now, they said cannot. for them all their customer is $$$, the most important thing for them is $$$ not you and me that their loyal customers as they think we are stupid enough, so go ahead to stay with Maxis if you are like me, the stupid customer that still tight with the contract.
