Girlfriend just got me a Ducky One no backlit, and I have been browsing keycaps sets and all every since.

This is such poison.

Welcome to the world of mechanical keyboard.

Soon, you won't even want to type on membrane or scissor-type switches keyboards anymore.

Getting my Bluetooth Filco MiniLa today. I am going to test it out with my Malaysian PC and a bluetooth dongle.

Excited to use Filco mechanical keyboards again. I previously gave the Filco full-size mechanical keyboard (brown switch) to my dad. Although he has no idea what is a mechanical keyboard (or the switches) for that matter but he has been enjoying the keyboard for more than 5 years.

Tested it out. Very satisfied and my entire setup can really go wireless for light gaming.

The layout is kinda awkward

Yeah, it is. Doesn't seem like the standard layout.

Can swap though via the switches and the extra key-caps Filco has provided. However, I will just use this for some light gaming (while I wait for my Corsair Lapdog to arrive from Amazon US).

Isn't better to use Minila than lapdog?
*
Hard to say until i receive my lapdog maybe sometime this month.

Reviews on lapdog is pretty positive so far.

Anyone can recommend best RGB keyboard? Currently eyeing on k70 lux, rapidfire and logitech g810. Switch doesnt matter I just want the best and brightest bling2. Tq

but do they have volume controller, color profile for each game?

Get Ducky keyboards. More solid compared to K70 Lux, Rapidfire and Logitech G810.

I have Corsair K70 Lux for my incoming Corsair Lapdog. That keyboard isn't as solid as Filco or Ducky keyboards, period.

Trust me, RGB is just a hype, unless you constantly work in a darkened environment

EDIT - I have seen the light (pun intended)
*
Frankly, I still prefer keyboards that have keycaps which either don't show the alphabets (eg. Filco Ninja series) or the keycaps which show faint alphabets (eg. my Topre Realforce keyboard).

I am using a wired mechanical keyboard (ie. Topre) with my mobilephone for Whatsapp purposes as I can't use Whatsapp web at work.

This option seems to drain the phone's battery quite a bit since the phone is registering this as charging connected device. As such, I am now considering to use my Filco MiniLa bluetooth for this. I envisage that this may reduce the amount of power draw from my handphone (which happens to be the recalled Samsung Note 7 that doesn't exactly have the best track record).

Please let me know if my understanding is accurate or if you have similar experience.

Thank you.

Soo I'm contemplating between Topre Realforce 104UG or WSAD V2 104-Key Doubleshot PBT w/ Cherry MX Clear. I'm leaning toward WSAD but the KB is currently out of stock.

Any pointers on the two KB?
*
Try them both and decide.

I use Topre for work as it is a blast to type on.

My other mechanical keyboards are with Cherry MX brownswitches. I felt that this is better for gaming while still being very enjoyable to type on.

That is one nice Realforce Topre keyboard.

The colour scheme looks better than mine. Hope you enjoy it .

I have been using my Realforce Topre keyboard for more than 5 years now.

Has anyone tried metal keycaps before?

Are there more brands (other than the one from Razer)?

I think Topre, you can try in Ultimate Zone.
However, for Topre, Malaysia do not have any distributor.
So, all Topre boards mainly are imported from japan and sell here. Don't expect it will be cheap.

For, Filco, perhaps hard to find already.
Almost no dealer for this brand.

Looking at your Filco stores.

Are there no plans to bring in the wireless fullsize Filco keyboards?

Are there any other brands than Filco for fullsize keyboards?

Thanks in advance.
