Practise, practise, practise.

Took me 2-3 months of solid usage to get used to it.

Have you tried Topre switches?

Soft but has tactile bump feel.

Hmm... Weird. I tried the Realforce. No such tactile feeling.

Or was I mashing the keys way too hard? Lol I mean, it's really smooth but I don't think I felt any bumps.
Or... I just forgot how it felt like completely.

QUOTE(richard912 @ Nov 14 2016, 07:26 PM)
Could be you tried the 35g version. The tactile bump is there albeit, not as pronounced as the 45g or 55g version
*
I share the same view as richard912.

It is there but less noticeable and less clickly compared to Cherry mx switches.

However, I find it absolutely a blast to type on and have been using it exclusively in my office.

Got myself a Logitech G310 Atlas Dawn for RM299 at Lowyat Plaza. I hope it's worth the price. hmm.gif

This is my 1st entry level mechanical keyboard after my apple keyboard dead.
*
Have you tried the other switches prior to buying the Logitech G310 Atlas Dawn?

Yes, cherry mx switches. But it's loud and kinda "slow" for me at least.

I m a die hard Street Fighter fans, so I need a faster keyboard to register those killer moves.  biggrin.gif

Romer-G is good as it's quieter and don't need to push all the way down.
*
I used to play Street Fighter on a keyboard and have been using arcade stick since few years ago.

I strongly suggest you get a good arcade stick since it will make the fighting games much more entertaining and you will be able to join local tournaments and get together.

Few years ago, i play SF4 using my PS3. But I m not good in using the arcade stick. laugh.gif

Ended up sold my PS3.  sad.gif

Took me 3 months to familarise myself with arcade stick from using keyboard to play fighting games. Never look back after that.

I think the CM did better job of introducing the MX Compatible Mem-chanical switch. At least can use aftermarket keycaps.
*
Eh share the CM MX compatible mem chanical switches model? I want to google also.

I think I will support the suggestion too since I have tried the keyboard at Viewnet Lowyat couple of weeks back. Still can feel the tactile feedback just that the actuation force required is slightly higher for me (maybe because it was a new keyboard hence the "kacip fatimah"-esque firmness/tightness on the rubber dome innocent.gif ).

Since it is also bundled with a rather nice mouse, I think I personally forgo the higher price point of the aforementioned Razor keyboard and go with the CM Mem-chanical RGB Keyboard combo.
*
Cool, I will probably test it.

However, probably won't buy any more mechanical / membrane keyboards.

I have like 7 mechanical keyboards which are all brown-switches and one topre (5 here and 2 in Malaysia).

Uh, you have no GPU at the moment right.

Time to get a mechanical keyboard instead.
