My Corsair Lapdog is almost here. I am very excited to use it with the Corsair K70 mechanical keyboard.

I will also try to fit it with my other keyboards by using bubble wraps or Styrofoam to fit them in.

Use Velcro?

Good idea. I will get some of that from Ace Hardware later.

Will need to see examine the dimensions of the Corsair Lapdog "keyboard" cavity.

Just swapped my Coolermaster Quickfire Ultimate back to my Ducky Shine 3.

Will use my Coolermaster Quickfire Ultimate as my home office setup.

Really enjoying both Ducky and Filco mechanical keyboards.

Is there a website I can download the manual for my Ducky Shine 3 as I have thrown away the box (along with the manual I think)?

Currently, I am unable to use this symbol via the number 2, (ie. "@").

i think your problem is that you set your computer's language and locale to some eu country
*
Eh, you are right.

I set my computer's language to English (United Kingdom). The moment I changed it back to English (Malaysia), the problem is resolved.

Thanks.

this may be off topic, but how's your samsung note 7?  laugh.gif
*
Sigh. Now it limits my charge to 60% and I can't change it in Indonesia.

I have to bring it back to Malaysia (which I will do this week).

May I know the brands of the mechanical keyboards above?

Off topic, finally managed to get my Samsung Note 7 replaced with a Samsung S7 Edge. Hopefully, this is the last time.

Looks better than mine.

Mine is entirely black with barely visible fonts. I use it mainly for in the office.

Mine is quite old, I think more than 6 years old already.

I have just received my Corsair Lapdog ordered from Amazon. Can't wait to go home and assemble it.

how does the keyboard mount to the lapdog?
*
First need to unscrew the screws and then remove a few plates.

After that, just slot in the Corsair K70 and screw the screws back.

Voila.

this lapdog can works on all corsair keyboard k6x - 9x ?

I think only K65 and K70 only.

K90 won't fit as it will be too big.

Sadly, it was not able to fit my Ducky Shine 3.

I see. Only for K65 and K70.

How heavy after you combine with the keyboard ?
*
I think around 3 to 4kg but still comfortable enough to put on the lap.

Show case of my mechanical keyboards and other peripherals:

Frankly, the Corsair Lapdog can warm due to the cushioning.

Despite Filco MiniLa Bluetooth awkward layout, I still find it a blast to type on. Some getting used to would be required.
