the guild name poll is setup by tropicano. it is still tie at 15/15 for LoTH and Durian each. i know so many people tangan so gatal to play already. agree with inoran. patience is a virtue. if we rush now, we can crumble in a rush too. however, im confident that there will be no pvp oceanic realm launch. our real dilema after this is, after 5 days, whats next?

My thought is if we really want to play on Oceanic server, we will wait for it no matter how long does it take. We want to make thing right, everyone can play their main lv60 on their own server first, it won't hurt, you can actually knowing the new content from lv60 to lv70, that's will help much if you reroll on new server. If there is time, you can even join up the raid from your previous server, we need experience player for the dungeon over lv60 (Yes, screw BWL, MC, NAXX or even AQ ). Only my suggestion though, i will leave to the guild to decide what is the best.

so far been playin for the past 7 hours.... the ping is around 400ish & i see alot of singaporeans in it too. so are we playin in tis server or what? ive already bring in 5 frens in the server waitin for the guild to start.

fellow members of LoTH.. Thank you for your continuing support on this thread for the past 3 weeks. We appreciate all the comments, feedback and new ideas that we have been receiving so far. And congratulations with our new guild name.. LoTH. lets rejoice this moment, LoTHarians!

now on to the next development. let us address the main issue at hand, which has been quite a headache, not only to us, but to almost all asia pacific members, which is, the unavailability of oceanic PVP realm as expected during TBC release.

i have been thoroughly following blizzard thread regarding this issues, and from the feedback i received, i conclude that there is a tiny chance that we gonna get our new oceanic pvp server. at least, not in the near future. words spread around that a new pvp server will only popped up when one of those realm in oceanic is full, which we dont know when. they have sign petition, scream, yell, plea, pray to god, bump, but blizzard official is keeping quiet. unless a miracle happen (which is, blizzard LISTENING to us), we are stuck in this.

so, if thats the case, why do we wait 5 days, u may ask. early reason indicates that we were hoping an oceanic pvp server will still be announce within this 5 days. however, that hope is now almost gone. but, we still give 5 days grace period since it is useless to login now due to the influx of players around the world. besides, that will give us ample time to strategies our realm options. nevertheless, since i feel that there is a 95% chance that no new oceanic pvp server will be announce soon, we are only left with other options. what options do we have? That is where, we need your help. please give your feedback and ideas. and we will, together, with all the combination of brain power from all of us, consider it. While this is going on, there maybe some of u who have high preferences on certain servers and insist that all of us play on that server. some of u wants to start now. it is not wrong at all. please make the proposal, and state your reasons. critics is welcome, but please, avoid unnecessary drama.

let me start with the best options that we have considering to this factor which ALL of us have agreed on, which is. .. ALL of us, want a PVP server. err, rite?

based on that, we have ONLY this options.

1) thaurissan. Oceanic, PVP. bad news. not so new. about 1 month plus. transfer server. lots of 60s. economy might already screw up. good news, its oceanic!

2) Coilfang - PvP, Pacific, block transfer - new server, just open yesterday. i just test this server a while ago. i heard the ausies gonna sabotaj this particular server in protest because of no oceanic pvp launch. and yes, when i log, there are lots of naked blod elf in the starting town. damn ausies!


3) Auchindoun - PvP, Eastern. new server, just open yesterday. block transfer. i tested it out and get 400ms on my stimix. quite fast. problem? its not oceanic!

This were also the latest realm and were released on 4th January. I doubt we gonna go in this.

4) Rivendare PVP - Pacific
5) Tortheldrin - PVP Eastern

The rest of the realm is useless for us, at the end, we are only left with 3 top options above. so, my brothers and sisters, what is it going to be?

One of the "transfer blocked" servers. On thaurissan, the transferred lvl60s will really mess up the server economics

I choice same as "julia88". choose the one with "transfer blocked" servers.
Reason :
1) Economic sure mess up.
2) If they can transfer, what use we go to new server to start again.. no fun already.
3) Ist time join PVP server,,, dont know status,,, but if one group lvl 60 raid our town? How will going happen?

Well I've been fooling aroudn a bit on my sister's rogue in thaurissan and at least for teh level 1-20 stuff the economy is still normal ... i.e. low level herbs/metals/equipment is still very cheap.

No idea about higher level stuff though.

better join new one. I must get TBC to join this guild?

Ok, here is what i suggest if you dont mind nitrofang Sir. Firstly, in terms of the guild's laws, i recommend the following.

1) Raid times will probably start from about 9:45 PM to 12:00 AM to accomodate those that are working.
2) Instead of using DKP, we will use MP or Mamak Points.
3) These MP will be allocated as follows (tentatively)
a) Attending raid = 50 MP
b) One downed boss = 50 MP
c) Subbing another person in raid = 30 MP
d) Minimum to maximum bid for a blue item = 50 MP - 200 MP
e) Minimum to maximum bid for an epic item or purple = 100 MP to 300 MP
4) The reason why i give so high MP for the above is because, I want to abolish the stupid DKP system that the "gui-lao's" always use.
5) No guild dorama, no fights, no arguments. Be friendly to each other. If you feel you are being treated unfairly, voice out your opinion in a private whisper, not blasting that person in the face in Guild chat. If you're uncomfortable voicing out to ther person you're antoganising, voice out to nitrofang or whoever is 2nd in command.
6) If you are away for a long period of time for a good reason, then if you come back for raids, you will be welcomed back. I'm going to also attempt to abolish the stupid system made by the "gui-lao's" which makes people who don't turn up for raids after long periods of time into "non-raiders". Real life is more important thatn WOW.
7) No ninjars and loot whores please. If you do that, i suggest you go to the much bigger guilds and do so.

So if those aren't a hassle to follow, i hope they will be implemented into the guild. However, the final decision rests with Sir nitrofang here. And as for the server, i suggest waiting until next server maintenance which is next Tuesday to see if there is going to be a new Oceanic PvP realm or not. If not, then we enter Thaurissan. Why Thaurissan and not Coilfang or Auchidoun? Because should a new Oceanic PvP realm come out and be available for free transfers, we can all transfer there. I'll agree to start in a new, transfer blocked server as well coz it not fun looking other with all the T3 set and legendary weapon on and we are still running without mount.

but transferring need money right? I think better wait la, we don wan end up getting bullied by those lvl60 and tis is also my first time.
