hi there. new player here wanting to join you guys. i am doing leveling now. purposely joining this server to join you guys.

playing undead rogue, using maces, planning to be a good pvp player. might not help really much in raiding, but will try my best to assist.

or should i play blood elf rogue? should i play swords rogue? or should i play fury warrior? which one you guys prefer?

and some newbie questions to ask...

1) does player count as humanoid?

2) how much HP does troll need to lose so that his racial skill can fully +30% attack speed?

3) why many people doesnt learn the passive talent dodge and parry?

4) which one is better, dodge or parry?

5) is there a cap for dodge? is there a cap for parry?

6) how does dodge and parry work actually? lets say i got 25% dodge and 20% parry. does it work this way that, the enemy hit me, i got 25% chance to dodge it. if i fail to dodge, i got 20% to parry it? or...?

7) does enemy get higher stun resist (for temporary) after i stunning him few times? i read this from somewhere... "maces are great in pvp, but after i stunned him several times, the enemy has resist the stun"

8) how scary is fear effect? i heard its really scary (meaning great) in pvp...

9) "sinister strike - An instant strike that causes x damage in addition to your normal weapon damage." how to count that normal weapon damage? is it the main hand weapon damage?

10) "riposte - This attack deals 150% weapon damage and disarms the target for 6 sec." again how to count weapon damage? is it both hand weapon total damage? or...? and who can counter disarm effect? i know arm warrior has immunity to disarm. who else and who can dispel this effect?

11) "sword +5" ok i do understand that it increase the sword skill by 5. but i dont know the exact effect for these sword, mace, etc skill level. what are the effects? higher damage? higher hit rate?

12) what are the normal combo (or combos) for rogue, when assaulting prey of other faction (not arena)?

13) what are the normal combo (or combos) for rogue, when fighting in arena?

14) is rogue a good pvp class? is rogue a good member that you want to help you in group pvp? or you prefer warrior?

15) why are most guilds in lowyat in horde? hardly see any alliance

16) are there many players in this server? i hope i wont get bored to see only several players...

17) will it be more laggy in oceania servers?

18) which class has higher dps? rogue or hunter or fury warrior?

19) which class has highest dps?

20) why people says warlock is super great in pvp?

21) how much it costs to relearn talents?

22) can i unlearn professions?

23) "shiv - Performs an instant off-hand weapon attack that automatically applies the poison from your off-hand weapon to the target." what is poison? does every weapon has poison? is poison very great? (totally no idea about poison thingy)

24) any other things that you think its important for me to know?

ud rogue is the way to go

1) yes
2) about less than 50%, usually its fine when u hit it at around 50%. but still ud is better imo for pvp aspects and also for certain fear based encounters.
3) bcos in a pve environment, its not your job to stay alive... its the healer's job to keep you alive
4) depends on the situation... against a warrior definately parry.
5) not that i know off. but usually ppl would go for attack power, hit rating (pve), crit (pvp)
6) its something like that, i dont know which comes first though. But you also have to put into consideration of the fact that enemies have TO HIT ratings.
7) its called diminishing returns... yes
8) its a crowd control skill, it all depends on how it is used bcos as like stun, it also has diminishing returns... and ud rogues are one of those who is hardly afraid of fears... CLoS, trinket, wotf
9) not too sure, my guess is main hand... might be wrong though

11) everything, dmg, hit, crit
12) no experience

14) MS/deathwish warrior hands down... good for 2v2,3v3,5v5. then again good luck on obtaining a good 2h weapon.

16) i think you can easily answer that urself by reading the guild thread. there are currently 2 lyn guilds at this server
17) its the same... all servers are based in US
18) if u mean pve dps, rogues have the highest end game dps against all classes
19) as mentioned above, rogues
20) their survivability, and the fact that their dmg is currently not affected by resilience, + felhunter (detect stealth, spell block, spell eat, high hp, soul link for higher resists and dmg distribution, high armor)
21 ) maximum is 50g
22 ) yes you can
23 ) try it out urself next time before asking questions... 1-70 is just a get to know and familiarize yourself to the game process. the real game only starts at 70.

it depends on where i go, im in cyberjaya and the place is pretty deserted.
i also ahve to watch my spending as i've been spending a lot lately, and from the looks of it i might be screwed out of my salary.

5) warlock, dot all and hug pillar or warrior with healers

no contest = very great or very poor? lol. thats the part confusing me.
and for warrior, which build is better? fury or arm? and, DW or 2H is better?
rogue with swords or dagger or maces better? since stun effect will be countered by diminishing returns... guess mace isnt a really good idea eh?

warrior is better
which build depends on what u want to do
pvp = ms/deathwish (arms)
pve = prot
pve dps = fury

whats good about warrior (ms/deathwish)? mind sharing the pvp strategy? what are the skills that u uses? heroic strikes? ms? and?

that u have gota ask warriors... my job is to heal them

its the burst dmg they get from ms, normal swing, whirldwind etc
deathwish boosts their dmg and makes them immune to fear for 30 secs
