why should the warranty be 1 year? technically there is a 1 yr warranty...................... valid in china. the warranty stated here, are the honored by the distributors themselves

Dear All,
May I know if the LCD screen display can be set to default "off" when recording? I intend to install one at the rear windscreen and the display can be distracting especially at night, when seen through the rear view mirror.

it will go off after a set amount of time... cant remember whats the shortest time you cn set off the top ogf my head...

I am using xiaoyi dashcam too. Would say that their HD quality isn't clear as compared to other HD videos i watch

So, i doubt it is actually REAL HD quality. Would try to upload a sample video here later...

the novatek processor's native max resolution is up to 1080

for competition sake, cam makers now juz keep pump up & pump up as knowing consumers like higher resolution specification thinking better video image, can make better sale.

I just bought one from Gemfive for RM182. CN version. Bought along with 64gb Evo+.

I haven't really look at the video yet but from the lcd, it seem ok to me. I tried taking a picture and it does ok ok. Not sure if Xiaomi reduced the image quality to save space or not.

I had another DVR named tantugo t300. The thing is that all of them are fixed focus. The clearest would be the center and blur out as you goes further from the center.

Dvr can be dangerous to you.
You are recording from home to your workplace.
If someone break your car screen snatch your dvr. They will now where you stay when they replay the dvr content.

scare kena break and dvr kena snatch..take off the dvr lo..but abit troublesome lo..
for me i never take it out unless send car to service or claim warranty

Been using since late 2014 until today, still not yet get stolen. My dashcams never take down when parked.

took this a while ago, for a dashcam with such specs at this price range, can't really complain about it
