Tempted to buy but how you guys use with only chinese language is available?

And does it need to be connected to phone all the time? If can store the video in the sd card, will it automatically delete the previous videos when it gets full?
*
Video on how to flash US firmware on the first post...

Please research a bit more on dashcam as the questions you asked is all dashcam functions

Got mine from Atcetera Solutions too.. biggrin.gif Fast delivery!

Anyway, i only had one problem and is not the dashcam itself, it was the usb cable that Xiaoyi supplied.
At first i couldn't get any charge to the dashcam and thought it was faulty or my 12v socket was faulty... bangwall.gif
At the end found out i just need to bend/twist a little bit of the cable's end to get the current through... doh.gif

It has the same brightness to me... well if everything else works then no need to worry about this lor
There are two USB ports on the charger, plug it into the one nearest to the LED light.

Mine one came with only 1 USB ports. Heard some other said this is the latest batch hmm.gif
Anyway, the charger felt solidly built, love it. Better than my other REMAX charger that I own. smile.gif

ohh I totally forgot about the new 1 USB port charger. Checked their official website, it's just a single 5V/1A port.

Booked yesterday evening at Lazada web site at RM199. Just now called up and collected my XiaoYi. It comes with 1 USB port charger also. So excited..... biggrin.gif

there must be reason dashcam makers switching car usb adapters

wonder these dashcam motherboard built with intelligence ic that can communicate with adapter for the voltage it requires. if no sure, it better stick with 5V 1A single port adapter rather than buying market type like max 2.1A output (1 port max 2.1A, 2 ports connected sharing 2.1A), 3.1A output (similar...) and so on...

thus for the dual port charger given, they ask u to connect to the port near to the power LED which means it should be 1A port, the bottom one is 2.1A.

i did that twice but the problem is still recurring
basically is not "system hang", i should make it clear...
the fact is the recording light is staying on and it does not record any video.

Another microsd card?
