QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Mar 28 2016, 04:57 PM) I haven't had chance to test it in real life but you can try to find the statistics and comparison online. Oh..i see..I suggest you to stick with GTX750Ti because if you change to AMD card (R9 280 and above), you are recommended to get a more decent PSU which may cause over budget. Guess will stick to new GPU instead of used 1.. Thanks again bro.. |

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Mar 23 2016, 09:38 PM) Hi, Terence. After some considerations, I might want to upgrade my rig in order to play Fallout 4 due to nostalgia. Would like to ask your recommendation once again. Smooth/decent setting @ 2560x1600 for Fallout 4 would do for me. |

Running Fallout 4 (smooth & decent settings) at your native monitor resolution requires a powerhouse GPU, you didn't state your new budget so I assume you are ok with the price of high end GPU.After some considerations, I might want to upgrade my rig in order to play Fallout 4 due to nostalgia. It depends on what games you play, some games are biased towards certain camp (either green or red), therefore the games will perform miles ahead of the other camp.If we talk about the raw performance, R9 390 is slightly more powerful than GTX970. |

As i know, GTX970 have higher memory clock speed and also lower power consumption but do the memory clock speed affect much in gaming?and if you were me to build a new rig, which will u choose? thx for your opinion If we talk about the raw performance, R9 390 is slightly more powerful than GTX970. |

Yeah, no specific budget but try not to spend as much as possible. Anyway, is CPU cooler needed? I plan to top up BQ Shadow Rock 2 if necessary. Not necessary in theory as it is a locked CPU, stock cooler is able to cope with the heat and temperature, if you are not satisfied with the temperature after you bought the rig then only get a 3rd party CPU cooler.Thanks. |

QUOTE(kunang @ Mar 29 2016, 07:20 PM) another 40 would give me entoo pro thou If you have budget, you can go for high end casing fan like Noctua or Corsair, if you just want to improve airflow without spending too much money and don't care about the feature/noise level, then cheap Aerocool or CM or Thermaltake casing fan will do.haha thanks Terence, will decide when the time comes Also, which brand would you use for PC fans? |
