yes bro, jz for 3 item
pentium i3 can run gta v?
kindly advise
thx ya
*
Can run but not recommended due to heavy shutter reported from PC community, GTA V is a CPU demanding games, i3 just barely keeping up with the requirements.

Edit: Saw you mentioned Pentium i3, there is no Pentium i3, Pentium is another series of Intel CPU while i3 is under Core i series, two are different things.

The mobo requires DDR4 RAM, make sure you have compatible hardware to reuse if there is any.

Hi terence, thanks for the suggestion. icon_rolleyes.gif Can you explain to me a bit more about RAM selection. is there any big difference between value ram and other brand such as the vengeance series etc. in terms of performance the vengeance series is better right? If i change my motherboard to Asus H170 Pro gaming is it okay or is it too much for the specs you suggested?

Since you aren't going for overclockable build (Z170 mobo), value RAM will do the job fine, this is because even if you get Corsair Vengeance 3000MHz RAM (for example), you will end up with 2133MHz only due to max supported RAM speed of non-Z170 mobo is 2133MHz only which is the base clock of DDR4 RAM module, so no point getting something expensive which you can't fully utilize the benefit of it.

Changing mobo to Asus H170 is possible with top up.

Not necessary unless you aren't satisfied with the current gaming performance.

May i suggest an cheaper alternative. Use last gen haswell chip and really tiny case.
Performance will be very similar you will not notice any major difference.

Core i3-4170 RM 479.00
Kingston 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz PC3-12800 RM 149.00
Asrock Intel H81M-VG4 RM 195
FSP HEXA+ 400WATT RM140
Cooler Master Cm Elite 110 MITX RM 158.00
http://www.lelong.com.my/cooler-master-cm-...7-01-Sale-I.htm
prices is from same retailer ETech

Save RM354 most of the savings come from a cheaper mobo and case.
Dont really need 550W PSU unless you plan to upgrade to a expensive and hoter CPU and GPU later eg i5 + gtx 970 if you do then this small case might not be suitable either.

Suggest use to savings to buy a SSD
Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB SSD - RM 209

Heatsink clearance for this case is 3 inch should be enough to put a stock cooler in.
but if you want a better/quieter cooler (dont wast your money as i3 is very cool already)
http://www.lelong.com.my/cooler-master-vor...6-08-Sale-P.htm
http://www.lelong.com.my/id-cooling-40pro-...6-10-Sale-P.htm

Things to note this mobo dont have any internal mobo USB3 to case connection. only usb2
but it does have 4 USB2 and 2 USB3 rear connector.
If you really want USB3 in front of the case then an alternative is to use this

http://www.lazada.com.my/2usb30-2usb30-mal...nd-8381727.html

Alternative slightly larger case

Depends on the games you play, if you can get same frame rate (assume 60 FPS similar settings) on your current system then you don't have to fork out so much money to adopt to new Intel Skylake system.

[Budget] Below Rm3k

[Purpose] 3Ds Max, AutoCAD & etc designing software

[Hardwares that will be re-use] None

[Monitor resolution] 1920 * 1080

[Location] KL

Need CPU and monitor(23"-24")..

Since current market price between Haswell & Skylake wont have a lot different, suggest to get Skylake right?

Normally those design softwares is recommended to use nVidia GPU right? if use skylake i3 with higher end nViadia GPU, will it bottleneck?

Focus on CPU (at least i5) then only spend the rest on GPU since some software use GPU only during rendering process, CPU is still the main factor during normal operation.

Intel Core i5 6400 - RM 782
Gigabyte H110M-DS2 (D4) - RM 289
Corsair 16GB (8GB x 2) DDR4 2133MHz Value RAM - RM 324
Palit GTX750Ti 2GB GDDR5 StormX OC - RM 509
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 215
FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 188
Bitfenix Nova - RM 149
BenQ GL2460 - RM 510

Total: RM 2966 (ETech price inclusive of GST)

Thanks for your recommendation..if I replace the GPU with R9 280X, will it better than GTX750Ti? Cuz i can get it cheap..just worry the performance in rendering will not as good as nVidia.. hmm.gif

R9 280X is much faster than GTX750Ti in terms of raw power.

But 3Ds Max is able to utilize Nvidia's CUDA to speed up the rendering operation though.

Thats why..this PC mainly for design, wont be using it for gaming..so nVidia is better?
How fast is CUDA in rendering compare to R9 280X or R9 290 or R9 290X? wink.gif
If similar price range, recommended get which 1?

I haven't had chance to test it in real life but you can try to find the statistics and comparison online.

I suggest you to stick with GTX750Ti because if you change to AMD card (R9 280 and above), you are recommended to get a more decent PSU which may cause over budget.
